We were looking for someplace to eat that didn’t have a long wait line and we stumbled across this place. The inside was warmly lit and cozy. Clean and brightly lit bathrooms. The fish and chips were on special and honestly it was the BEST fish and chips I have ever had in my entire life. The fish had the perfect amount of crisp and the tartar sauce was AMAZING. Big portions for the price. We would 100% come back and recommend this place to anyone.

This is a good pub. I gave it 4 stars because they serve fries with their “fish and chips” at a British marketed pub. The Shepherds pie was also a small portion, pretty thin. Would not recommend for a healthy eating male. My dad totally loved their fish and fries however and the tartar sauce was his fave. My mom had French onion soup which she enjoyed and a beet salad which she never looked up from once while eating. I would go again, but would not choose the shepherds pie again.

Went out for a drink while in town with a friend. We didn’t realize it was Saint Patrick’s Day, and this place was hopping. They seated us quickly, drinks were served and we just got an app as it was 11:30pm.We watched the craziness as some sang, some drank, and it was loud. An hour later, things had calmed down.Drinks and food were reasonable and quick. Great traditional pub to get away to in Toronto!

Nice little “traditional pub” hidden away down some steps. The outside isn’t very appealing but inside is cosy and warm. Coors Light was good value, good pint of Guinness. The toilets for women had a god awful strong chemical smell that almost stung your eyes though.

Great service, decent food. Very happy with how receptive the bartender was to our request for fast service to help me meet my next appointment. A bit pricey.

Its really nice place to celebrate the Birthday party. Last week I visit there with my friends so I like it very much.

With one worker to serve the whole bar after St Patricks parade ending nearby and a big crowd, the experience was bad. A rough end for a good Sunday. The worker was nice and staying optimistic. She ended up forgetting our food order so we told her to cancel an order of fries and gravy after waiting 40 minutes just to make sure we weren't charged for the food. When I needed a refill I had to go to the bar because she never came back to our table.I usually like Firkin pubs but won't be going back to this one.
