Richard and his crew were exceptional! They were professional, detail oriented and the work they did was outstanding. I simply do not have enough words to say how pleased we are with the results. Our beautiful new retaining wall, walkway and driveway will last for years because they were done to such a high standard. And the young men on this crew were wonderful...so friendly and respectful of both us and our property. Their work ethic was second to none and it warmed my heart to see how much pride they take in their work. Thank you to all of you young men. Last year we had our backyard landscaping completed as our property was a new build and only part of our yard was landscaped. I would rate the work as below average. They left a ring of weeds around my existing grass and just laid the sod on top.The grading of the work isn’t proper. The lawn dips in two areas where rain water pools and sits.The communication from this company was poor. There was never clear start date. We finally had it narrowed down to a couple of days which I was fine with. I asked them to please let me know the night before by email when they were coming because I work and my husband is away. I expressed to them I would like to arrange for someone to be on the property that morning when they arrived. For one, to make sure they didn't destroy my neighbours property (they didn't Obviously). They showed up on a random day not one they had suggested with no heads up. I checked my phone at work and listened to voicemail letting me know they delivered dirt and they were already starting.I was not home one for this incident but was informed later. My neighbour had her windows open and they working and in her perspective they were having highly inappropriate conversations very close to her daughters bedroom while she was sleeping. She went out to talk to them about it and were nothing but rude back to her. I was disappointed to hear this and wish they just apologized and changed the subject.

Perhaps they are good at landscaping, but would not recommend on the drainage front. I had french drains installed, but that was all that occurred, no factoring in of the actual property grading before install which yielded far more problems than solutions. Landed up using another contractor to fix the work that had been done by RNS.

In 2019 RnS transformed my backyard from completely unusable to one of the largest and safest backyards on my street. It was a very large investment so I met with many contractors in order to ensure that my expectations could be met. RnS was competitively priced but what stood out for me was that they provided an overlay using Google Earth that defined where my fence and retaining wall was going to be constructed. It was with this pic that I was able to tweak the project in order to ensure that there were no misinterpretations. The job itself took just over 3 weeks to complete in October 2019. The guys worked in rain and in the dark in order to complete the project. They had all of the proper equipment and cleaned the street each night before leaving as there was mud all over the street. They had no issues with me watching and answered all my questions through the process of completing the project. In fact, I asked for further work to be completed once the project was winding down. They were able to provide an updated quote and complete the additional work while on site. As the weather in the Fall of 2019 became challenging to seal the interlocking stone, RnS called me in the Spring of 2020 when the first opportunity presented itself to complete the job. Many people from the neighbourhood have stopped by my house to see the work as it stands out. My wife and I couldn't be happier. My girls now have a safe backyard to play.
