They don't know how to work with African hair. I went to get my hair washed and styled, i ended up with very dry hair from the hair spray she sprayed to hold. The iron was not set high enough to straighten my hair, i thought she would go over it again but I was shocked to know she was done! She said it wont make it dry and she didn't ask me before spraying my hair. I went home very disappointed and ended up washing my hair the next dayWaste of a 70$

I absolutely love Claire!! Great hair dresser, she is so talented. Also, such a good person. She takes her time and listens to what you would like done. Great cut and highlights. The salon is clean and welcoming. Will absolutely be returning, this is my new salon now.

I was very excited about my hair color when leaving the salon, I had went in to get lowlights to try and blend with my blonde so I could go longer without coloring and less maintenance. The hairstylist knew what the goal was, gave me lowlights and I paid over 200 dollars. What I didn't realize was the color was temporary. So I paid over 200 dollars for a color that washed out after a month. I am not sure how that was supposed to be lower maintenance for me, as I would now need to get highlights AND lowlights again every month.Very disappointing especially for how much I paid. Won't be visiting again.

I have been coming here for many years and I regret not leaving a 5-star review sooner. This salon is by far the best I have ever gone to. The staff are amazing and they use nothing but the best products. From the moment you walk in, the staff make you feel right at home and comfortable. Big shout out to Shaelyn who has been doing my hair for years (10+). She knows exactly how I like it and always does an amazing job. I can't recommend this place enough!

I've been coming to this place for years, super happy with the services and customer care provided. My favourite stylist is Shaelyn! I request a rather unique/uncommon haircut and she gets it perfectly every time. I really appreciate her attention to small details, it makes me feel very valued as a client.

Great salon. First, lots of parking, easy access and nice vibe. They make clients feel special with the little extras.Really like the K-18 products for restoring moisture and fixing chemically stressed hair.Love Heather, she's a skilled colorist and managed to correct a very bad highlighted disaster from a different stylist elsewhere.My hair was terribly cut and thinned out, not styled correctly and highlights that looked whitish gray. My natural color is Auburn and I thought it was ruined. Heather beautifully corrected the entire botched job.The color is near to my natural color, the recut helps my waves to lay properly and the moisture treatment restored my hair from a frizzy, crunchy dried out mess to a shiney, healthy look.Heather is fantastic, the salon is great and very happy I found this community gem. My new hair salon. Love it! ❤️

I’ve been seeing Samantha for years and she always does an amazing job! She’s very informative and thorough with the consultations, I feel comfortable knowing what will happen to my hair, time, price, etc. Recommend her to all, esp those wanting to go blonde.

My second visit to the salon. Erin is very knowledgeable and honest which I appreciate. I see that a lot of the reviews mention pricing - Erin was very upfront about how long my service would take and what the pricing would be both times. When I got full highlights and pink in August, it was more than I've ever spent before but it was 100% worth it for her skill and experience. She also gave me lots of information about how to improve and maintain my texture, colour and scalp at home. It's also just a lovely, comfortable visit and I feel so pampered and cared for when I walk out.

Heather is brilliant! The entire experience at Jemini was positive and my hair felt fabulous after. Heather consulted with Mary to come up with some ideas for my hair, and I left with more product knowledge and gorgeous hair.
