The small shop that can AND DOES!!! A project type that always has challenges and no surprise I did. Brandon and the Coastal Offroad team were extremely supportive, service was excellent & responsive, and the product after several off-road excursions and a 10,000 km touring lap from Alberta down the entire Pacific Coast Hwy to Baja Mexico in the fall confirmed the bumpers performed to expectation!

I bought the high clearance bumper kit for my 2020 Tundra and am very pleased with the product, the customer service, and the memorable experience it created for me! I am a novice welder at best, and I was bit worried about my competence when placing the order. Turns out it wasn't that hard. It was time consuming, but I was in no rush and wanted it to come out perfect, which it did! I highly recommend ordering from these guys. I also got their BMC plates and followed the instructions on the how to fit 37" tires" blog post they wrote to complete the pinch weld chop and BMC. I highly recommend Coastal Offroad!"

Great Product easy to assemble. But the instructions are very basic not for a first timer welding project. For the Price it is great quality product. Will buy again from them.

Had a good experience with my purchase. Website isn't quite as easy to navigate as products that are compatible with FJ cruiser aren't listed under FJ cruiser but rather under other similar models. Other than that, everything welded up nicely, instructions were good and easy to follow.

Quality of the product is unquestionable, however customer service is a lot to be desired. Also when picking my order I had a very difficult time finding the place, there were no directions provided.I bought one of the weld it yourself rock sliders for $900 CAD and spent another $1100 for welding and powder coating, so keep that in mind before buying.

Great bumper to build up! Shipped to my door quickly, 3/16th in steel will hold up to lots of abuse. Some of the smaller pieces could be combined to help welding cost but no complaints here.

Fantastic bumper, even for a novice welder. I really liked how all the pieces just fit together, and the locating tabs were also a big help. The one improvement I would make is to allow a little more room to access the inside of the bumper, or at least slightly larger access holes. Getting the license plate mounted was impossible for me, and the winch mount bolts were difficult. Aside from that, I love it!

Edit: I'm changing my original review from one to four stars because of the professional response I got from Coastal Offroad (it really blew my mind). I will include the boring details below but the gist is, they operate with a rare integrity that many companies claim to have but few actually do. I truly mean that, and despite the problems I had, I would most certainly recommend them to others and I would buy from them again. I can't include the original review due to character limits but honestly I had some serious fitment issues.Despite the problems I had, I ended up making my build work, but I was sure to copy the original review and send it to the company because I really wanted them to know. To my surprise, I was contacted directly by the owner who, instead of giving me some canned response, showed genuine concern about the fitment of the bumper and my various setbacks in the build. At his request, I sent several photos regarding the gaps in the pieces and the issues, the parking sensors, and the power steering cooler. It seems that for whatever reason, my truck is unusual and we really aren't sure why it is different from the other 2nd Gen. Tundras the kit fits great on.A transmission cooler mod was absolutely necessary but as I explained to the owner, it was not difficult, just time-consuming. You SR-5 owners, just keep that in mind. (Unbolt the transmission cooler and the shroud, put a vertical cut in the side of the shroud and feed the cooler through. You might have to notch the steel center support as well for clearance. Make sure you have extra hose as well.).Regarding the parking sensors, I had to cut the upper clip off the passenger side one but it fit pretty securely without any additional work. I get the distinction that there will be an adjustment in the design in the future to alleviate these issues.Regarding the lights, the connectors didn't fit to the factory ones which were more frustrating than difficult to resolve. So, even after all that I would still recommend Coastal Offroad to others. Seriously, they truly stand behind their product and genuinely try to make things right when things don't work. To me, that is a huge deal. Besides, when all is said and done, it's a badass bumper that looks great.

This company is top notch! They were fast and communicated throughout the whole process. The kit was perfect too… very happy with whole package and it turned out better than we thought!

Purchased a high clearance bumper kit for my son’s 2nd generation Tacoma. He had almost zero welding experience and thought this would be a great crash course. I am pleased to say I was right. The bumper came out great. The precision of the cuts made tacking it a piece of cake and all the external seam welds get ground smooth anyway, so it was a great place to work on his technique. I highly recommend this project for a great bumper as well as a great learning experience.
