The food is not high quality or fresh here. The Mango Smoothie ingredients contained E-211 which stands for sodium benzoate, a bad preservative. The ingredients in the mango juice had lots of other chemicals to and the mango was like the third ingredient after sugar and water. The sausage roll was bland and microwaved. Come here to buy food if you have run out of other options.

Honestly i had super low expectation based on the review and also the fact it was the only place open, but the bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant was actually pretty good and service was fast as well.

I had the GROSSEST, tiniest, $20 chicken wrap from Green Bean Cafe at YVR. Service sucked too. Save your money, this place is THE WORST!

I wish It had minus review option. I asked for veggie samosa and they gave me a meat samosa while I don’t even eat meat.I thought it’s soya and upon confirm and checking they gave me the chicken one. This is soo disrespectful and nobody was even sorry for doing that. Nonsense employees and people working there. I wish they would have some dignity and respect. They should check the cameras to confirm what they give me stupid employees.I feel soo disrespected and sorry for myself that I even went there.

Craving a sandwich and a coffee. Got their Salami sandwich and 12 oz drip coffee. Coffee was fresh and tasty. They asked if I wanted the sandwich pressed and I said yes. When I got it was still cold in the middle. When I asked them to redo it since it was cold they said it does not heat up the sandwich. Okay, understood. The sandwich itself has four maybe five slices of meat and processed Kraft slice cheese. For $12, it's an over priced item for what you get. Suggest going elsewhere.

Very fresh and nutritious food. I pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Especially the falafel appetizer and the fresh veggie salad. The appetizer came with 6 pieces of falafel, some marinated peppers which were so good, and pretty good hummus. The veggie salad was springily fresh and crispy, and very large. To add, the chicken samosa was better than average and fresh. The espresso was made from the beans roasted by some toaster called Canterbury, never had their beans before, it was not terrible - quote similar to the 49th Parallel coffee but way better than Starbucks.

As far as airport food goes not the worst. Breakfast sandwich for $10 is probably on the more adorable side these days.It was fresh enough and decent. Why mayo on a breakfast sandwich though?

They microwave their expensive food instead of grilling it. I understand it’s faster if you want the middle hot, but try this instead: microwave the item to get it hot and then grill it to make outside less soggy. Customer in front of me walked away when they tried to charge him $16 for a wrap. I understand this is airport food but the quality isn’t worth it, sorry. Would have been higher stars if staff were friendly but they aren’t.

The food is good but far too expensive for quantity. Foolishly did not check the prices (not next to items- my bad) and suffered severe sticker shock. $32 for two small wraps and a drip coffee.

You know how sometimes you make a meal in the middle of the night, and even though you have nothing in the fridge, you find some random things in the house to put together to make a sub par meal to curve your hunger? Eating at green bean cafe is exactly like that, but 40x the cost and far less flavourful. It might be the only option available at 4AM, but trust me: you’re better off hungry.
