Pretty scary. It changes every year. The only warning is if closterphobic this might not be the best place for you and lots of stone lights as well.

New year's levee was a great experience in a house filled with antiques and a very friendly staff serving hot soup and homemade confections.

We went to the Haunted Museum before Halloween and we had such a great time! It was well thought out and just the right amount of creepy. A lot of fun.

Visited the lovely Keillor House in Dorcester, New Brunswick and was given an excellent tour by one of the enthusiastic and knowledgeable young guides. The home was built by a yeoman farmer from Yorkshire (John Keillor) who found success in New Brunswick. The house is filled with fascinating artifacts from the Victorian period - moustache mugs (so tea didn’t get on a man’s waxed moustache); an ice cream mould in the shape of a pickle (for fancy ice parties); and a wreath made out of human hair (a traditional Victorian “craft”). Museum also includes the coach house which is a penitentiary museum, an interior of a local Masonic lodge and the textile museum (spinning, weaving, looms, etc). Very interesting and well worth a visit!

We attended an event called Supper With the Keillors. Since the original family was from Yorkshire England, most of the meal contained recipes from that area of the world. Extremely delicious.

Halloween night was fun. Great spooky house, not for young children.

Sooo much fun learning about the past. This was the house of a wealthy couple, and finding out how they lived and how we live is surprising. Their extravagance is our normal.

Best haunted house ever! And when in the summer, it's a very interesting museum!
