Smiles at Summerhill Dental - Newmarket & Aurora Dentist

This is a great place to take care of your family smile. My entire family goes to this clinic and we do everything from regular checkups, cleaning, root treatment and wisdom teeth removal.The entire staff is very polite, kind, and professional. They are also very great with the appointments as they call you to confirm and when you arrive to get care, they are always on time.Their prices are reasonable and it is very easy to use your insurance with them.Another great thing is they don’t try to rip you off. They are always very transparent about any costs or anything that may be optional. This is great because our family built a strong trust with them and we feel that we are treated with honesty and professionalism.

I just had my first appointment at Smiles at Summerhill Dental. I am impressed. I had a cleaning with no pain, zero, full exrays and photos done and everything was explained to me fully. I will be making SSD my new family dentist.

Do not go here.Dr. Yeganeh “fixed” my wire when it came loose but glued it incorrectly causing a gap in my teeth. She then refused correct this mistake claiming it wasn’t her fault. There is clinical photo evidence of my teeth together before this and their own documentation, but they take no responsibility even though I came back two weeks later to show them what happened. I would not trust this office.

Extremely rude, unprofessional and aggressive receptionist. Anything I asked was answered with attitude, and was unclear. When I would ask for clarification about benefits she would just continuously raise her voice, I actually took a step back. She really seemed interested in creating conflict rather than helping a customer. After waiting 45 mins for my appointment that I was early to, I just left and called another dentist. Despite being a customer for years, I won't be back.

The dentists are great however the last hygienist I had was rough around the edges and sloppy.What I am most put off by is the accounting department. A couple years ago the account called in January to collect some money owing. It was news to me that there was a balance owing...from a long time ago. Why didn't they phone me to clear it up previously? I explained I thought this was not great service, to leave it so long. We reached an arrangement yet she still called another 3 times , forgetting that we had cleared up the matter. Everyone e deserves a second chance so I was happy to move on and stay with them.Recently I had great service from one lady at the office - she phoned within a few days of receiving my cleaning letting me know about a balance owing. I was happy to pay as it was dealt with soon after my service. Awesome lady.This January I received a call from the new accountant alerting me that there was a balance owing from last September. I asked why was this not dealt with last year when I had service - she said that there was no email associated with my account. Why didn't she try one of the 3 phone numbers we have on file? I found this extremely unprofessional!!! I told her we had experiences like this before ( never with other dental offices in our life) and that we would be leaving the office as we were unsatisfied. She said she would make a note of this on my file!! Great problem solving skills.I also feel that some of the hygienists end up providing extra services which aren't covered. For example do polishing when it isn't covered until 6 months. They should know this amd give the patient the choice to have this extra service or not. It creates distrust of the billing capabilities. Coupled with the accounting department's actions this place is a money grab.Also - harassment to change your appointment to fill some empty spots in their day is very tacky.The owners and dentists are top notch but there is a lot lacking with the new hygienists and the coordination of the office staff, billing and accounting coupled with customer service and retention . We will be taking our dental care elsewhere. Buyer beware.

My family started going to Smiles at Summerhill a year or so ago and they are amazing. They are trying hard to remove that terrifying dentist feel. Last week I had Anisha and she was amazing!! Felt more like a hair salon visit! (Almost) Lol. Front desk Fabio and Laken super friendly and kind. If you are unhappy with your dentist like we were for years, so easy to switch to Smiles at Summerhill. So happy we found them.

I check by Dr Sophia last week she is such a nice Dentist, polite & soft spoken & I did my cleaning with Tabs today she is really very light hand and light touch.Thanks Tabs for doing that on me and the receptionist are really very co operative and given smiles to everyone.I give them5Stars.

I had Invisalign braces recently and I couldn’t be happier with the end results. Dr Yeganeh was friendly and very knowledgeable. She took me step by step through the entire process and always made sure to take the time to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend Dr Yeganeh if you are thinking about doing Invisalign yourself. Thank you!
