They need drivers but they don't want give chance for full licensed drivers.

- Heyl Truck Lines won’t cover travel insurance into the USA for the first 90 days of employment, unlike other carriers (so it’s an out of pocket expense).. with Covid19 going on I’d consider this before applying..- Always expect to load and deliver your loads- driver facing cameras- I lived outta my truck and was hard pressed to get 9500 miles a month and I’m the type a guy that don’t pick and choose loads- weekly pay and decent equipment as well as staff within the company is super easy going.. some flaws in the company but nobody is perfect

It is my firm belief that this company operates more like a driver mill rather than a company that genuinely cares about the well-being of its drivers. Throughout my time with Heyl, I found their practices to be highly questionable, and I would caution any prospective drivers to think twice before joining their ranks.One of the major issues I encountered was the company's blatant disregard for the financial stability of its drivers. Despite promises of good pay and bonuses, the reality is far from it. Heyl Truck Lines will often have you out on the road for weeks on end, struggling to make any decent money. They lure you in with the prospect of bonuses, but in truth, these bonuses are rarely if ever seen by the drivers. It seems like just another empty promise to entice new recruits.Furthermore, Heyl Truck Lines lacks any sense of a family-oriented environment. The company claims to value the well-being of its employees, but this couldn't be further from the truth. They show little regard for the personal lives of their drivers, often leaving them out on the road for extended periods without any consideration for their family commitments or personal needs. This lack of empathy and understanding is deeply concerning and contributes to a toxic work environment.In my particular case, I had the misfortune of dealing with a driver manager named Adam St Pierre. I can say without hesitation that having him as a driver manager only added to my troubles. Adam demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and failed to address my concerns effectively. He seemed disinterested in resolving issues or providing any meaningful support to the drivers. If you find yourself under Adam's management, be prepared for a frustrating experience.All in all, Heyl Truck Lines falls woefully short of delivering on its promises. They operate as a driver mill, putting their own interests above the well-being of their drivers. The financial instability, broken promises, and lack of a family-oriented culture are significant red flags that should make any driver think twice before considering a position with this company. If you value your career and personal life, I would strongly advise exploring other options rather than joining Heyl Truck Lines.
