We are first time home owners and it was our first experience replacing carpet with vinyl flooring, we were nervous about how it would go... but extremely happy with Paul and his team's work. Paul and his team (including his wife) were excellent. I used his services 4 years ago but finally now am getting around to writing a review. Sorry this is so late!I had them install our laminate flooring and base boards with shoe molding. They did an excellent job and thing were done quite well. Their prices were very fair back then. I'd consider them for certain for new projects.What I loved most was they put together a proposal with pricing and details broken down in a clean and easy to understand format. Very professional and great workmanship.

I was in need of having new laminate floor installed in my condo and Paul of Petra flooring fit the bill in more ways than one.His quotations were laid out professionally and clearly. His prices were very good and he was very quick to respond to all of my inquiries.And more than that, he was extremely accommodating to all the changes I made....And I made a few... but he showed me nothing but patience and respect.He was very good about making recommendations when needed, but allowing me to remain at the helm of my own renovation.The team was very polite and together kept an extremely functional and clean work area. The work team was also very conscientious about handling furniture movement with such care.The Laminate floor was laid efficiently and beautifully. I'm extremely pleased with the work that was done and all the care that was taken.I would not hesitate to utilize this companies services again if needed.Personnel is great. After getting numerous quotes snd not feeling quite right about previous contractors, I contacted Paul/Nancy. Right away I was very happy with the professionalism from both of them. Paul came to our home to look over the project, the quote was provided shortly after, after some discussion about what we wanted and we decided to go with Petra Renovation. I can honestly say they are some of the best contractors I have ever dealt with. From their promptness to the quality of work, excellent communication and attention to details, Paul/Nancy and the rest of the team were fantastic.given the issues we had with the hardwood, they still managed to do a tremendous job with the floors and stairs. Even when there were some small finishing touches that I brought to Paul’s attention, he was quick to make sure we were completely satisfied with the work. I would and have recommended Petra Renovation to anyone looking to get flooring and or stair refinished. The price was very responsible for the extensive work we got done and the results met all of our expectations. Petra Renovation should be first on any list of considerations for flooring contractors. We hired Petra Renovation to install our hardwood flooring and we are more than happy with the results. We were little worried about the finishing along the tiles but Paul did an amazing job, he really took his time and the results are even better than expected. If you are looking for the best flooring installation at the highest quality on all aspects: punctuality, pricing, cleanliness, competence, demeanour and workmanship, then look no further. We had a complex situation that Paul from Petra Renovation assessed accurately when others did not. He efficiently resolved our flooring problem and was able to complete the finishing aspect of the trim as well.

We have done our engineering hardwood flooring from Paul. He is an excellent gentleman and did the job with perfection. Price is below market and quality of work is high. A great combination which is hard to find now a days.One request to the team who worked after installation of baseboard there were some nails which needed some makeups , that was missing. But that's just .5% of the whole great work they did.I will recommend them and will use Paul's service again.Thank you Petra renovation.
