I received maple wood chips from James’s company. The chips were a great size, and to me delight filled with leaves, exactly as James had described.He and his team were very communicative.

I can't recommend James and his team highly enough!From the initial contact, James was responsive, punctual and beyond knowledgeable. We had a challenging situation with a giant, diseased border tree that we shared with our neighbour. He deftly navigated all of the city requirements and permits and worked with us on our extremely specific timing issues.The crew themselves worked non-stop on a ridiculously hot day and following morning and were polite and skilled. The garden was cleaned up to an inch of its life afterwards - it was if they were never there.James has also been an encyclopedia of tree planting knowledge as we get ready for the tree's replacement. While his pricing for the tree removal was excellent, it's his knowledge and enthusiasm which are priceless.A pleasure!

I would recommend 100%. James was pleasant and professional throughout the entire process. He handled the application submission quickly and the tree was down as soon as approved/the weather permitted. We had a tricky tree close to houses and we felt secure and confident with James' crew. We are so happy with the result!

James was great. He saved as a bunch of money by verifying through 311 that the trees encroaching on powerlines and the house were city property and were therefore maintained by the city. He even made the appointment for them to come and prune the house side! Friendly, honest and helpful. Can't ask for more than that!

Hjs crew were prompt, polite and left they did a great job at both pruning my large trees and in tidying up my backyard after the job was complete. Mr Tree Man does it again!We hired James and his crew a year ago. We had reached out to three companies for quotes. James responded within a day and was out to see our property a couple days later. The others took over 2 weeks. When their quotes finally came in, they were well above James' price.We just hired James again for a much more complicated job. Again, he was extremely responsive, coordinated all the necessary equipment and crew, and executed the job perfectly. When they left, the place was immaculate. There was no debris left on the property. We even received a note from our next-door neighbour complimenting the crew.If you want a job well done at a reasonable price, call Mr. Tree Man!

I just started gardening in my backyard and heard wood chips is good for improving soil quality and suppressing weed, then I searched online and found about the free wood chips delivery service from the owner (James).I filled up a form, and within a short time I got response from James confirming that I was in line of getting wood chips (that's reassuring, although I'm not sure exactly when I can get it but at least I know I'm on the way getting them, I had filled a similar form at another tree service company prior, still haven't heard anything from them). James had also patiently answered a few basic questions I had regarding wood chips and the use of it.The day before delivery, I got a call from James confirming the time of the delivery (I suggest to try not miss the call or email from them after you filled the form, because if you missed it then the load they currently have could have gone to others who responded pretty fast), then in the morning on the delivery day, two members from James team delivered a truck load of wood chips on the drive way that I had cleared out. Overall, they were professional, considerate and friendly.

I HIGHLY recommend James and his team. He removed a large tree from our backyard. He's very professional, made the process so easy, was very responsive, and met every timeline he gave us. If you're in need of an arborist stop your search right now - you found him.

Hi,I requested a half load of free mulch from Mr. Treeman. Wow, did I get a lot. It was delivered the next day. The delivery person was friendly and informative. I was able to complete all of the projects around my whole house. The bonus was the amazing scent from the freshly ground mulch which was a wonderful cedar smell. Thank you Mr. Treeman!
