☆☆Very Important☆☆Want to post a review for WRA Clinic Unit#10 - 13278 Tec Rd E. (front building east side of lot close to Tec Rd) I went here to get a cortisone shot to ease/eliminate pain in a joint. On arrival, I went to the desk. After confirming my appt, the person saw that I had my prescription in my hand. She asked for it and had me take a seat. When I was called in to the injection room, I was told that an ultrasound would be done on the area receiving the cortisone, then the area would be frozen and then the injection. I didn't see MY prescription bag so I asked where it was (this was before the doctor came in). The young woman told me she would go to the desk to get it. She returned to perform the ultrasound. Again I asked where MY prescription was. She assured me it would be there when the doctor came in. I didn't think more of it. Doctor came in and he took a needle, first putting it in a larger container and removing some of the liquid (I was told later this was the freezing meds) then he took the needle and put it into a small little bottle similar in size to one of the 2 bottles that were in my prescription bag. The needle was then put into my joint and wow did that hurt!!! I asked where the freezing was and was told it was all in the same needle (??????). That didn't help the pain at all. BUT HERE IS MY CONCERN...I never did see MY prescription I had brought with me. SO...I do not believe I received MY prescription medication.IN THE FUTURE, IF I AM ASKED TO GET A PRESCRIPTION FILLED TO BE TAKEN TO A CLINIC AND/OR DOCTOR FOR INJECTION....I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN LET THAT PRESCRIPTION GO OUT OF MY SIGHT!!! NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE ELSE!!! Just a note...within 6 weeks my pain has returned. Could it be because I did not receive MY prescription meds...it makes me wonder. I would like to add that the staff was very friendly but the above suspicion that I did not receive my medication tainted the whole experience. Also, make sure the injection site is frozen first. The radiologist I had did not do this despite my being told it would be done!
