Just Hair Boutique

I was told to purchase two sets of tape in extensions. My extensions were not installed at JustHair, they were installed at a different salon. The extensions were fine the first three weeks I had them, but after a while they became matted and knotty. I had been washing them properly, and putting them in a lose scrunchy at night like I was told. Eventually I ended up cutting them to shoulder length because I became annoyed with them. Also, tape ins are much stickier than I was warned about. If I would have known they were as bad as they were, I would have chosen a different type of extension. They are itchy as is, but become extremely itchy if you go two days without washing your hair. As for how they were installed, I did not purchase enough to fill my head. There was an obvious divide between my actual hair length and the extensions. I ended up wearing half my hair in a top knot to try to hide it - which didn't do much as my hair dresser also dyed my hair extensions darker than my natural hair colour. The tape itself (white strips) were in places that were difficult to hide, so they were easy to see.If I didn't spend $300 on the tape ins, and $210 on installation, I would have taken them out already. I don't want to feel like I wasted my money though.If you're looking for extensions, I would look into Sabins at Devonshire Mall. I haven't had any installed there, but my old hairdresser Ebbi was talking about them with me and showed them to me. They look like much better quality.

So, this is the first review I’ve ever written in my life but this place is too amazing it was hard not to. I lost about 6 inches of of my hair due to stress and was a little worried about getting extensions as I have blonde hair and I really dislike when they don’t match perfectly buuuuut I had the pleasure of getting my extensions from here with the help of Alex. She was super informative, kind and let me just say.. my hair looks absolutely fantastic! It was such a great experience. Everyone in the salon was just so genuinely sweet. 10/10 recommend!

I would not think of going anywhere else for hair extensions!!!I am so pleased with mine, as well as the “bangs” & “ponytail” I have.The girls are super knowledgeable and are fantastic at matching your own hair and the amount/length so it all flows naturally and doesn’t look fake. First time doing I tip extensions and I was told that they had really good quality hair, so I went and got the lightest shade they had to match my hair. The hair was terrible! Barely last me 3 months before the hair lent went from 20” to 16”. I was told to buy saryna key shampoo and conditioner and use heat protectant and that’s what I did. Only washed my hair once a week and barely even styled it. The hair kept breaking in half, got tangled every 5 minutes. I could just be in my car driving and before I would get out I’d have to brush my hair again because of badly tangled it was!! When my hair dressed did my lift she was very disappointed. Apparently their blonde hair is very bad quality, according to another one of her clients who bought from just hair boutique. Hair is super thin now and not even half the thickness it was!! I went back to them to complain and they told me to “buy a mask and leave it in for a day”. Did that a couple times but did not help whatsoever. The hair continues to shed and break like crazy for absolutely no reason. they’re horrible quality for what ur paying for. Save your money and buy them online!

Never go anywhere else. Love it there.
