I have been using 247 Host for many years now after trying several hosts in the past. 247 Host have by far outperformed ANY of the others by miles. On the rare occasions I have needed support they have been very prompt and efficient in sorting out whatever the problems is.I HIGHLY recommend them.

Satisfied for years - Now moving to new host because of cost and attitudeI have a VPS with 247-host. The services are good and never had any serious problems. They do not upgrade the server software ever, until they have no choice and then they moved me to a new server. At that point I was so out of date that my sites were at high risk for hackers and malware. My SQL database kept corrupting. That stopped after they finally upgraded by server software to current versions.The extra charges for cPanel are ridiculous. I signed up with unlimited instances of cPanel and then trying to reduce instances down was a lot of work. I was trying to understand why the charges were so high and if I could reduce the new extra fees by getting my cPanel instances down. I was told that 1-5 was the lowest tier and that was going to cost $14 per month over an above my agreed contract price. Fortunately for me I was already on a monthly plan as my special" new customer pricing expired years ago. They do not offer any discount for longer terms after the initial signup. I have been with 247-Host for since 2015 and until the last few months things were fine.That being said, two months ago they took away my apparent LIFETIME discount due to CPanel license changes. I get that partially. Agreed and paid. Last month they increased my bill by $1/mo stating they have to charge me more for the extra IP, no notice, just new invoice at a higher rate. Then this month they raised it another $4/mo. without notice. It appears as if they can just raise your monthly charge without any notice. With no real explanation except, well we can't do it for the price you have had for the last 6 years. So much for customer loyalty. I will be posting this on other hosting platforms as well as looking for a host to move too. I will take my business elsewhere!
