Excel Martial Arts Chilliwack

I can't say enough good things about this place! Our kids have been going for a couple years now and they still never cease to amaze me. The instructors are caring, helpful and teach respect. With every belt test they pass comes a new sense of pride, confidence and committment. We have watched our kids grow from clingy toddlers to independent youths because of Excel. Special shout out to instructor Tass who shows so much passion and patience with all his students. I recommend this place above everything else. Thank you Excel!

Our son and daughter have been going to Excel Martial Arts since we moved to Chilliwack two and a half years ago. Best decision we made for our kids, hands down. The skills and confidence they've gained since joining is incredible (in class and out) - they love going and working hard. All of the instructors are awesome! They're knowledgeable, provide a safe learning environment, and they are great at encouraging their students. We love EMA Chilliwack! Highly recommend!!

Such an incredible atmosphere. My daughter has only been attending for a couple of months and already we have witnessed leaps in her confidence and ability to trust her body. The lead teacher and the assistant teachers are phenomenal, honestly. They're so on top of the kids, with gentle guidance and reassurance. They are also creative on keeping the kids attention with interactive activities and fun educational games. I highly recommend trying a class, although I can't give my opinion on how classes are for older children and adults. I'm sure they hold the same positive atmosphere and professionalism.

The team at Excel Martial Arts Chilliwack is truly epic. The value of education, skill, responsibility and fun that is created for our kids has been phenomenal. We truly appreciate the environment and opportunities for the kids to develop leadership capabilities while fostering healthy competition as well.Also the parent night out events are a genius idea!

My son has been going here for a year and a half now after having a negative experience elsewhere. This is by far the longest he has stuck with any one sport/place as he can get anxiety around activities. The instructors are great, the owner’s communication is awesome and it’s a super friendly, encouraging environment. He always comes out of class happy (which is huge for us) So glad a friend recommended Excel!

My kids have been members for several years now and I can’t say enough about the leadership, work ethic and values that are modelled everyday. The instructors work tirelessly to lead and are exceptional role models for all students, regardless of abilities. They genuinely care about all of their students. An inclusive environment, high energy and so much fun, my kids LOVE coming to the gym each week!

We have had a great experience at Excel with both the child care and the classes. Adam is great at communicating with the parents regarding policies and government regulations. He is also always available to answer questions. The classes are at convenient times for us. My daughter has made many friends there and enjoys going so much her goal is to become an instructor one day.

Excel MMA is excellent at all locations. We have been to both the Abbotsford, and the Chilliwack locations. The programs cover self-defense, grappling, striking, etc., but also respect and discipline.Instruction quality is excellent, and the general level of instructor professionalism and skill is very high.You can trust their programs to lead your children into a broad ranging knowledge of all areas of MMA.5 stars!

The after school program is stellar. Kids are happy, teachers/I know structors are trustworthy and kind, and I’m thrilled with the increased confidence and post it w behaviour I’ve seen since they started.
