IGA Extra Lasalle

I used to shop in this are 40 y ago. It was clean and good service. Then comes the IGA and it was ok for some time until a few years ago a woman working at Rachel Berry section started to harass me every time I try to shop. No means nothing to her. She follows me and made me feel uncomfortable and followed by a psychopath. I felt harassed but today she took my things out of my cart before cash claiming that I have to pay at her section but I was in a rash and it makes me use my debit card which costs extra, she acted as I was a thief and smiled like a crazy person while I told her to leave me alone. Really weird nut case but manager was not apologetic nor understanding that treating customers like that is degrading and disgusting. I told him Walmart and Amazon respect customers so I better shop there and where I feel valued as a human being.

Today (April 8, 2023) I went to IGA to get butter at a discount. At the same time, I took tofu (not at a discount). I just decided to make tofu for dinner. When I opened the package, I immediately felt a terrible smell. When I took the tofu out of the package to throw it in the food waste, I also saw worms. IGA please check the tofu you currently have (April 8, 2023) on the counter. It's terrible!PS I didn't take a photo of the tofu because it smelled terrible.

It's been a long long long time since I've received such great service and having pleasure to shop, place is spotless, allies are wide, and every employee was smiling, also I could not belive it every cash had a wrapper, 10/10 thanks

Very clean, great service and friendly staff. Also, grocery delivery from them was perfect and on time. The only negative is that they are a bit more expensive on many items. If they competed more on pricing, they'd be 5 stars.

To have a great shopping experience is good for the soul and the tummy. ask the guy behind the fish counter about lobster, he comes out and tells you how to differentiate between a female and a male, letting you make the final decision... the darling lobster has a different POV of how knowledgeable they are ! The bakery, same thing. The produce gang is super on their game. I only hope that the owner/s is/are fantastic to their employees because really - it is such pleasure to shop here. And, I have visited IGAs, Metros, Maxis, Sobeys, SunFoods, the list goes on...

- be careful from that location when you check your loto paper , two time they bluff the first scratch paper said not winning but machine didn’t show anything and they couldn’t find the paper in garbage second time today just now my 6/49 resulta a venir but the guy took the paper and put it a side didn’t tell me the results is tomorrowNasty be careful guys when you check your lottery on that locationThis is the most clean supermarket ever, people talk about respect but if you really want to feel it go and shop at IGA extra employees super helpful , you will be treated with full respect when I go there I feel like I’m in jewelry store and not a supermarket the fruit look like diamond the quality is super high end , the cake and pastry section oh my lord for gathering company meeting birthday or a special treat for your wife or girlfriend that’s the place you need and don’t forget to buy a flowers they have a good collection of flowers roses etc.... and the same time a bottle of wine from the full range of quality and prices, my fish is always from there always fresh tasty and clean , and for my drink I always buy my cold cut from there because of the way how they work and how clean they are all you need for home is there I love loving that IGA I congratulate the employee the managers and the owner for making us proud of shopping at IGA extra beck.

It’s a nice Iga. A lot of selections and there is plenty oof available items. They don’t have express checkout yet but they have a lot of people on most busy days. It’s a nice area with a residential area and it’s a nice place to grocery shop. I pass by from time to time if need be.I would recommend.

was very surprised and disappointed with the roast chicken. I asked for a breast and they cut it and put it in one of their bags and once I got home to eat it, realized the chicken was partially raw. The wing part was completely raw.

The variety of products is big and is very organized. They always have special so you can save. And the customer service is great. You can find also flowers for your garden and more.
