Would rate lower if i could! I will say the guy i dealt with today on desk 3 was very polite and helpful, however. Both a trainee and an uninformed employee, i dealt with yesterday were a different story. Not only did they cancel my liscence because of their mistake, the employee also decided to have an attitude with me when i understandably wanted my liscence or my money back, neither of which they would do for me there and then. Resulted in me having to take time off work to see a lawyer to get a letter to confirm my status in the country, when they literally could have just asked me before canceling my liscence. Uninformed, rude and to be honest disrespectful behavior from the male member of staff. I can only say so much about the trainee given that she was in training. Also heard the lady on the front desk talk to other customers about different customers business in front of the whole crowd. If you value privacy or efficency go elsewhere. And most definately avoid desk 1 and 4

I cancelled a class 6 road test more than one (1) month ago. They told me that there was no way to get the refund the same day (using my Debit or Credit Cards) but instead, I will get a Cheque mailed asap. As for now, I haven't received any refund yet! How come that you can allow yourselves to take people's money and state in your return/refund Policy different things and then omit proper refund methods! What a lack of professionalism!!

Went in and I saw that there was basically no line and I checked the QR queue and it said no one was in line in front of me so I didn't bother. Someone walked in and scanned the QR code and even thought I was clearly waiting in line before him they still took him instead. That was fine, until I get to the front and they don't take Apple Pay and she demanded that I hand her my physical card. I dont feel comfortable giving her my card and not being able to see how much im being charged. Is it not a regular payment system that is used at restaurants? Pretty much wasted my time since they can't accommodate one of the most common methods of payments these days.

They have a QR code (virtual waiting line) so that everyone in the building is safe and it’s not over crowded. It gives you an estimated wait time and it is typically on time when they call you in my experience. The wait time gave me some time to run some errands while I waited for my turn. There is limited parking however there is an indigo lot right across the street with tons of space available. The people working there work long hours helping the general public with all types of questions, concerns, etc. and they do it very professionally. The workers helped me and we made it an easy, quick, and painless experience at the registry office which I typically despise going to and put off for months at a time. I made sure to have all of my documents needed (Alberta Health Card, Passport, SIN Card, Registration and Insurance) so that I could renew my license painlessly as they do need that information to do their job! Thank you to the staff at Marda Loop!

The person who helped me register my new vehicle was efficient. He had patience while I was sorting out a little hiccup with getting proof of insurance. The only issue I have is the $10 fee for paying by credit card. Ouch!

The QR Code is ridiculous. Went in when they opened, not a single person there. I checked, and there was no one ahead of me. I waited and the staff saw me and never said anything. I asked if I could get seen, and they said I needed to sign up on the QR Code. Not a person was even in there! So I do, sit back down, and then wait. Again, NO ONE WAS IN THERE. So I left and went to the Signal Hill Registry. Way better. Better service and better staff.

Was here 2 weeks ago. I registered using the QR Code and stood in line for almost 2 hours to change my driver's license. As a result, the girl employee told me to come from Monday to Friday! She didn't take any of my data, document's, she just sent me home.A few days ago I was at another registry, there they took my data and said that they would call and invite me to a appointment.I understand that the girl at the first registry either did not want to serve me or did not know what to do. It is very unpleasant and I will not go to this registry again!

This place is terrible. I’m not sure if the staff is dumb or they will just do everything they can to not do their job. Was here for an hour trying to get a replacement license after mine was stolen with my wallet. I had no photo id… because it was stolen. They said they couldn’t issue me a new one without valid ID. I brought up using utility bills as a possibility and 2 of the staff just shook their head at me. After basically begging the staff to help me, I left and went to the Richmond registry. Thank god I did, they used my utility bills to get me a new license. Took 10 mins max. Whoever the lady is that works in the far left side desk is terrible. She lacks even the smallest will to do her job and will basically tell you anything she can to not have to touch her computer.

This was our first visit to this registry, and as soon as we entered, we were immediately approached by a man named Sacha. There was no need for us to wait in line or figure out how to obtain a ticket, as Sacha grabbed our attention and saved us time. He displayed great patience, kindness, and extensive knowledge. Sacha carefully reviewed our system notes, explained the procedure and costs involved, and provided detailed information specific to our case. Unfortunately, Sacha's female colleague treated him poorly and spoke to him in a condescending manner. Based on the comments of other reviewers, it appears that she has received a significant amount of negative feedback. Hopefully, she becomes aware of her actions and adjusts her attitude. Working with a negative coworker creates a toxic environment for both the staff and customers, and it is important for everyone to have a positive and supportive workplace.

Zero star! Rude, incompetent and slow. Asking questions felt like squeezing toothpaste.The person there told me some different answers than what I read on the provincial website, so I asked him again, just to make sure. Then he straight up told me “ya? Then go to another registry, then he said, if you knew the policy, why do you ask me?”Well, sir, if you can’t answer questions or can’t understand what it means by being in the service industry, maybe change another job.
