CORT Furniture Rental - Service Area

Wonderful service. I placed an order and one item was no longer available. Miguel was so pleasant to work with. I was just as happy with the alternate option, prompt response and their COVID pick up scheduling. I will definitely return for the great outlet deals!

Super disappointed with CORT furniture. The furniture I had rented was super nice, but upon delivery they had broken and damaged the chandelier. I told them about this and took photos. They told me someone from the warehouse would reach out. They never did!! I was charged for replacement of that chandelier. Mind you this was last year. I completely forgot about it until I got the bill. For what I was paying monthly they should’ve handled this Immediately!!

I talked to Jim about pricing on renting furniture and he sent over the information within minutes after getting off the phone. Very great customer service! Thank you Jim!!

I searched online all over the Metro Area for businesses that sell new and used office furniture. I am a writer and also use my chair when using my computer online too, so 7 days a week, my most used piece of furniture in my apt. I wanted a high back chair, fully adjustable including the height of the arms very important for working on keyboard), and to have at least some low back support. There is a neat adjustable bulge in the low back area that you can move up and down. I personally visited a place at Raymond and University in St. Paul, another big place near Hwy 7 and Hwy 169 in I think it was Excelsior, and to CORT in Bloomington. I wanted a back high enough where I could also fall asleep in my chair. A couple of the sales people along the way were humored by that as that's not what one looks for in an office chair, a workplace chair, but I told them I'm a writer and at home. I've fallen asleep in my CORT chair many times and it's just right as I will sleep a max of about 20 or 30 minutes enough to wake and keep going. I didn't have a lot of money either. I was very glad to find CORT. For how nice and what I needed in a chair and the price of $150 for a used $349 chair, mine showed only light use, a great chair. I was very fortunate. The arms gave out after 3 years but I fixed them with duct tape and some stainless steel hose clamp. I bought the chair in 2009 and this is 2017! I'm overweight and when I get out of my chair I push down too hard on the arms to boost myself. I've changed that bad habit. I also found if I have my chair a little higher I don't need to boost so much from the arms. So I am hard on a chair. I am far beyond any warranty. I called and thought I might have to pay a lot for replacement arms. Miguel was very nice and probably because of my unusually high use and not in best of times financially... he still said to bring the arms in (3 bolts an arm and easy to take out.) to be sure he gets the right ones and WOW no charge! We even visited in general over the phone, very down to earth too. Miguel was gone when I arrived, but they fully accommodated for me! It was like Christmas to me to get these replacement arms! I just got back and put the new arms on right away and it's so great! Miguel was very personable and understanding. I still have a lot of years use ahead and got a very nice about a $349 Savvy Executive Chair" for $150!!! Also very personable and helpful Anthony was there to find the right arms and to do the task of finding me another pair. There was another guy who was very nice too

If you plan on renting from cort furniture just a little heads up. Their service is fine but unless your just staging a place for sale do not do it. If you sit on a chair or sleep in a bed or or use a dresser you WILL get charged damage. And we'll over the value of the already used furniture AND mattresses. Yes it's all used . Rent their furniture but do not live with it or use it. The convenience factor is great but they will get you. You may as well buy furniture. Just my own bad experience.

Stopped in today to check out what they had on the floor to compare to an order I placed on line for a one year rental period. We've had Cort before through relocation companies but never made the arrangements ourselves. Anthony and Jim were very pleasant and helpful in helping me make some changes to my order. The ease of their process makes me look forward to moving into our new place. If you have a Cort location in your area I recommend stopping by to see what they have before you order online. I found a trip the showroom to be very worthwhile.

I buy everything from this place, my home looks beautiful, they have the best clearance floor. Their main floor of new furniture for example couch 3,000 dollars actually whole one bedroom executive suite furniture from living room, dining bedroom art work tv etc rented for an executive for about 8 months in his executive suite that his employer is renting while he stays when his job is done he is returning home to New York all the furniture all items return to the store now because the furniture was used or left the store and came back it is now cleaned and resold on the clearance floor. So the couch is now being sold for 599.00 dollars. This is just an example of how this works everything gets steamed cleaned before resale I love quality, I love expensive, but if I can buy discount baby I will to have the best I am never to proud.

They rent out furniture minimum is 3 mouths you do get better pricing if you do either 6 or 12 mouths. They know have a company that will deliver for a fee of course. They also sell what they rent. They had microwave starting at fifteen dollars bedroom sets with chest dresser doors around 1300 there inventory changes daily so it could be gone in a hour. The day I was there was extremely excellent.

Georgia (customer service representative) was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make sure our needs were meet. Thank you, Georgia!The 5 stars are solely due to her care and attention. Everything else went smoothly and the furniture is exactly what I had expected. Hopefully, the pick up goes smoothly as well.
