I needed some fiberglass/gelcoat repair done. First place I called was Jay's. I described what happened and the damage done. Jay said he sees my kind of issue all the time and he could fix it good as new. He gave me their hourly rate and a rough estimate of how much time it would take. I was expecting the next thing was how backlogged they were. Nope. He got me right in. I stopped by a few times just to see the repair progress. Jay is a very nice and personal guy and even the repair guys took time to speak with me. They did a phenomenal job!!! You cant even tell where the repair was done!As far as the store goes, it is very clean and seems very well stocked in marine and other supplies. The other staff personnel are also very nice and other customers and kids really like the dog.They exceeded my expectations and I would HIGHLY recommend them.THANKS FOR A GREAT JOB!!

Bought the last scoop of bait waited for her to catch the last few minnows, only asked for a scoop and was charged for 2dz... silly and sad to pay 10$ for a dz golden shiners

Rented a Tri-Toon Pontoon for Sunday afternoon for cruising and tubing on Lake Huron. Ended up riding and anchoring on a sandbar North of the Blue Water Bridge. Great Time!!! Thanks to Mary's Family for joining us before the storm!❤

Went in waited near counter,owner was engaged in a conversation about fishing with an older gentleman. Stood there for a moment,was not acknowledged. Looked around at a few things and returned to the counter,still talking and i felt maybe i was invisible. Waited some more,nothing. Looked around at a few other things hoping maybe id be helped when I approached the counter a third time. By then,the owners wife im assuming asked if i needed help. Told her i was interested in an electric trolling motor,mr. carry on a conversation never missed a beat talking to his buddy so she opened a catalog and said here look through them yourself. I got fed up and disappointed and ended up walking out. I will never step foot in there again and you missed out on a sale worth atleast $2000 and a repeat customer because talking about rabblerouser lures with your buddy was more important!!!

Jay’s was pleasant, quick & easy for 4th of July boat & tube rental. The dog Lucy who hangs out inside the store is very cute & a great addition for the kids to say hello & goodbye when we come.

These guys are the best. Very knowledgeable and customer focused! Jay even dropped off a part at my house on the way home to save me a trip back to the store. I highly recommend Jays!
