Thistletown Collegiate Institute

I went to this school from from 9th to 12th grade, amazing teachers! Great experience! Amazing Opportunities at SHSM students! Cooking program was the best experience of my life!

Its a great school, I'm about to go into grade 11 and I like it a lot. One problem though, sometimes there's no soap in the guys bathroom, not often but enough to be a bit annoying.

Pretty good school.Took them a few years to upgrade from XP to Windows 7 computers.It also took over three years to get WiFi in the entire school instead of just select places such as the lunch room or the library.The school is in a pretty good location with Tim Horton's and Dary Qween near by, great places to go on lunch to. There is a church near by who serve free food on Thursdays.Not a wide variety of courses are taught, but covers things from cosmetology to auto mechanics. The auto mechanics cource has cars that students work with and understand.(They were also donated a new vehicle recently)Overall the school is great and what should be expected of a high school, but could do with some upgrades to nowadays technology but are finally starting to do that I seems.

Dodo ah school, doesn’t care about graduates, most of the teachers can’t even speak proper English, especially kokthi, I don’t think he even understands what he be saying half the time

Loved the teachers, hated the vibe of this school. 4 stars because I made friends here that I am still really good friends with.

It is a small collegiate but Education is good and specially the discipline is better than others. The teachers are trying their level best to improve the quality.

I go to this pathetic school for 11th grade and i HATE IT HERE because they make it hard for me to try to make friends and they don't let me leave until the second the bell rings wether i have a way home or not and this one jerkface teacher named Mr Dada (i think that's how his name is spelt) has lied to me more times then i can count and recently they made me have a meeting with some jerk named Tracy Ashley (yes that's her name) and she was so mean to me and i know she supports C.A.S (or as i like to call them The Demons) so to sum up this is the worst school to exist and i hope some day the Gouvernment gets smart and closes this place downPS i will update this review if this place is more terrible to me which i bet it willI am updating this review because Dada (my jerkface teacher) lied about not having my mom's number which he did and i'm 90% sure it's he call my father behind my back and he didn't tell the office the number until after i found out so please don't let this happen to you and stay away from this guy

Did grade 9 to 13 there from 1959 to 1964..63- 64 Ryerson Polytechnical Inst. offered Satellite 1st year course here at TCI which I attended. We were called 13R.!The 1st year it opened was 1957 -58. That year as a new school, TCI had grades 7 - 11.I attended grade 7 there..
