Sears Outlet Store

I needed a work outfit few months ago; black long sleeve button up shirt, black pants and black shoes. And they had to be a good brand too. So a relative suggested I try out this Sears outlet. I was actually very impressed with the deals I got. I didn't have a lot of money to spent, but the money I did spend went a long way. You really have to dig for the bargains though because there's a lot of cr@p mixed in with the good stuff.The mens shoes are also hit or miss, with a lot of it looking like the kind of shoes old cruise ship passengers wear.They had an amazing selection of belts for $7. I will definitely come here again, though for leisure wear I wouldn't say they're my style.

I would like to share my experience with Sears customer service. My parents purchased a dish washer from the Sears Bargain Basement" in Halifax Nova Scotia. This was a great deal at the time and they purchased a warranty and a fridge and stove at the same time. Total bill over 3500.00. Everything was great until they started to have some issues with their dishwasher. Sears sent out a person to fix this issue more than 5 times until the technician had to call in to request a replacement (This guy was awesome by the way) . What I learned after the fact is that this was a returned unit previously which is why we have had so many issues. Sears whom I thought was a reasonable company to work with has a very broken customer service system. I do not want anyone or anything from Sears at this point but I believe people interested in their product should look elsewhere for customer service after the fact. It is easy to sell something but much more difficult to the right thing after the fact. I hate to do this to a company but they really have tied my hands as they will do nothing to help at this point and we are still within our 1 year of manufacturer's warranty!***reasonable solution found with Sears. The extent of communication of much more difficult than what it should have been but at the end of the day we resolved the issue by both sides being reasonable."

A lot of good deals. Not a lot of high end items but great for smalls" and clothing

I live about an hour and 20 minutes away from the store. I called to ask if they had a major appliance I am shopping for in stock and the lady that answered the phone said it is a personal shopping store only and she could not tell me if they had the item or not. I explained that I live a distance away and did not want to spend 3 hours driving just to walk in and find they don't have what I need. Her response was only that they don't transfer calls to the floor, they do have some appliances but would not tell me if it was what I needed, and then basically hung up on me. Well ok then; I won't be coming in.

We purchased 2 love seats at different times within the last 3 months that were defectiveSears looked after us by taking back the items and refunding the difference.Satisfaction guaranteed even at the outlet store.Love these guys!!!

Good.for.finding a bargain, but if you wait too long someone else will grab it. Very helpful shipping staff. They helped me tie down a bed I bought and even gave me some.rope to use.

Good deals to be found but stock is understandably unreliable. Floor staff is mostly non existent. Getting assistance is always a hunting and waiting game. The checkouts are always slow but usually friendly. Most items are final sale.

Good prices on some things Generally staff are helpful but are consistently let down by one man in the appliance department who is gruff and generally miserable. When I am there I will wait longer to be served by another person if I can as I find him intimidating.

I love this place!The first time I ever went in (I am new to Halifax) was a couple of months ago.I found a $300 bedding set for $60. Nothing wrong with it.This past Friday I went in to look for another bedding set. I didn't find what I was looking for (although there was a great selection). However, I sauntered over to the wall art and wouldn't you know it, 50% off of lowest ticket price.Three large pieces of art came in at under $80.I'm so thrilled...it's Sunday now and I'm thinking of going back for more! :)Moral of the story: Don't go in looking for something specific. Go in looking. Goodness knows what you'll find!

went in to purchase a lawn tractor as they were 20 % off. when i got back that sale was over. no tax was the sale on tractors tonight 12 Feb 2016. was going to purchase a 4000 model in box but it was not on sale for NO TAX. Talked to manager and nothing he could do. I think if the sale is on with NO TAX it should be all TRACTORS. If this was the case or if the owner will change this policy I will go in and buy the one for 1599.00 tomorrow. Trevor
