The food is so delicious and they have so many varieties. Hidden gem in the city. Best African Restaurant in Toronto. The name speaks for its self plus the staffs are so friendly and nice

The food here is so good especially the sala soup. The afan is really home made. It's takes me to my village. My grandma kitchen. Isiewu is another delicious delicasy I will always want to visit African Village. They are the best in town of Toronto

A hidden gem in the city.Good place to relax with friends with the cozy atmosphere and vibe of the venue. Has bar/ restaurant mix in the design giving the spot a unique feel.The food is amazing with a nice selection of African barbecue, potion size is a bit small in comparison to the price paid but nonetheless quite tasty.Location is far from downtown so you’d need a car and good luck finding parking as the plaza is quite busy.

Honestly speaking this is one of the best restaurants I ever been too. They have a variety of dishes from all over Africa and the customer service is just marvelous. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone loving flavorful/tasty food

I ordered the Nigerian Jollof rice with fried fish, along with a quarter grilled chicken. The rice tasted very good and the fish was even better, with the 'skin' of the fish being crispy. However the portion size of the fish was a bit small.The quarter grilled chicken was well done"

Avoid at all cost. Worst restaurant ever- they need to be ashamed of themselves. It is wickedness to make people pay for a terrible meal that looks that way - See picture below. This is capable of making one come down with some terminal health issues.NB: Before buying a takeout make sure to inspect thoroughly before leaving. We trusted the fact that we would have something good and didn’t check what we paid for until we arrived home.Chicken was burnt (see picture), suya burnt, partially cooked and tasteless jollof rice and pepper soup full of bones. Everything purchased at this restaurant was a disaster. Never again.

I love the food here. I am very picky with my food n where I eat. But this restaurant have gone above and beyond in their services and food preparations. Everything taste so good. I always order larger quantities from them. White soup, afang, ogbono soup, everything taste so delicious and everyone one working there is so friendly. I am a Nigerian man with high expectations n they always deliver.

Honestly I am very angry this evening that I ordered this food from this restaurant for 35$!plus delivery which equals (48.71$)to quench my hunger this evening, and this little plate of food is what I got which entirely killed my happiness. this is totally a fraud and a criminally minded action. How can you sell a plate of food for 35$ and this is what we receive. I have been eating nkwobi in another restaurant for 25$ and it comes in a little bigger portion not to talk of when I order a 35$ worth of nkwobi. I decided to give you a try because my usual restaurant was closed ,but this is a big Scam!! from your restaurant, and I will keep reposting this picture and your restaurant’s name to every Nigerian site in Toronto and also report you to the Canadian food inspection agency, since your restaurant have decided to wickedly operate in this manner !!!
