He was able to give recommendations to keep appliances in good condition and pointed out items otherwise overlooked. Gary did a fantastic job with my home inspection. He was extremely thorough and taught me quite a bit as I followed him for the over three hour inspection. He pointed out a few major and several minor issues that I would have never noticed. I would highly recommend him whenever you need a home inspection.

Buying your first home is stressful. Motor City Home Inspectors made it a little less stressful. I was kept informed, shown visuals, and kept at ease during our inspection. I left the house that day with not just knowledge of the home but tons of knowledge in general. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who need a home inspection.

Had Gary inspect home prior to closing on house. He gave us a list of everything to fix which was simple and he had mentioned we had a free 30 day warranty if he missed anything. After moving into house, we realized the A/C was not efficient and realized he never checked the crawl space. The air ducts had fallen off. We tried calling and texting countless times with no answer. Only after asking for a refund did he come out. He came out today, bringing his freaking wife to my house, not in uniform and getting annoyed when he realized he had to go into crawl space. Comes back into house and announces he will be going to Home Depot for parts to fix ducts. Comes back with a full refund instead of fixing the issue. The lack of professionalism Gary has showed is beyond ridiculous. Do not trust this guy with inspecting your home. Now we have to completely redo the duct work out of pocket instead of getting a concession. Thanks Gary, stand up guy who really takes pride in what he does. Take your business elsewhere.

If I could give this person a negative star I would. Gary inspected my daughters house, and found some things and also let us know. Told us he offered a 90 day warranty after closing and would come out and fix anything within that time frame. Yesterday, on one of the hottest days, my daughter realized that the air wasn't working. We looked in the vents and all duct work had fallen out. I texted Gary who sarcastically stated he would come by and did the following day. He told my daughter the duct work probably fell out AFTER they moved in trying to get out of admitting he never checked duct work. After she said she wanted it fixed, he went under the house, had an attitude and said he would have to go to home depot for items to fix the issue. When he came back he handed them a refund and said he wasn't fixing the problem. A duct work guy now says that all the duct work under house is rusted out and must be replaced. Had we known this prior to purchasing this home we could've negotiated seller concessions or walked away. Go to someone else for your inspection, this guy is not who you want.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. First of all, he was not only on time, he was early. He tested everything; and I mean everything in the house. Gary's report made a big difference in my home choice. He explains things very well and even sends pictures so that you understand what he is referring to. Great Service!
