Mister Transmission

Our car was making some bad crunching sounds when moving. The team at Mr. Transmission had the issue identified, turns out 4wheel drive box was toast, within an hour of dropping off the vehicle and had the car repaired before end of day. Car is now working great and I would highly recommend this location for service.

Jason and Brad were great, and provided me with the updates every time I called to inquire about my car. I know they were working had to rebuild/repair my transmission and the staff was short handed, but overall so far the car is great the service was great. Other than the time frame being far to long it was a pleasant experience with the staff.

Arian is so great to deal with if you're someone like me who knows very little about cars. He'll talk you through what's needed and give you options based on that. I never feel taken advantage of or scared I'm being overcharged. These guys are the best, 10/10 service.

I was driving into the city from out of town when I suddenly got warning lights. I called and spoke to Tanya who was so helpful, she worked to get me in quickly. The team diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered in the part and had the work done within 24 hours. I really felt they went out of their way for me because they knew I was in a tough position. Excellent service! Thank you!

It is refreshing to deal with a business that is well known for the top notch service that they provide. Today it is harder and harder to find that. Brad the owner was very easy to talk to and took the time to actual be in the mix of things as they took place. He gave a couple prices using used parts and new and researched what would be possibly expected from both scenarios, service and price wise. My wife was very impressed with Arian on pick up of the vehicle once the work was done. I was further impressed with the fact that with a holiday in the week of repair the vehicle was still returned to us in a timely fashion. Had some minor setbacks with getting my car repaired however the shop was persistence and accommodating to get it complete as soon as they could. The staff at this location are honest, knowledgeable, friendly and very understanding. A huge thank you to the team at the Halifax Mister Transmission!

I can’t recommend these folks enough.As someone who doesn’t know a lot about cars, I have been taken advantage of before.But not by the crew at Mister Transmission, they’ve been terrific.They really do try to help you save money, and only do the work that is necessary on your vehicle.I had an issue with shuddering on my VW Golf, and they got to the bottom of it very quickly, while also explaining to me the work that’s been done so I could understand.Really appreciate them, and I’ll always be back for future work on my car.

Bad experience, no customer service. Engine Oil change is More expensive than others. Took for me 6 hrs to change engine oil and transmission oil. Where I was told less than 3 hrs. Instead of compensating they charged me more. Plz check rates with other before going to Mr transmission.

Tremendous service and patience in trying to locate the issue with my car. They took the time to test drive it both with me and alone. And in the end they didnt charge for their services making them different than most of the places I have been to. Well done. Would definitely take my car there again
