If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my hamster to get it's nails trimmed here, and on the second visit I was told my hamster had a wart in its ear. After an $80 examination charge, in which the vet didn't even touch my hamster and spent less then 5 minutes with him, I was told the wart would fall off on it's own. This vet also recommended replacing the paper bedding with wood chips, which anyone with a small animal knows is VERY harmful to a hamster. The wart did not fall off, it grew exponentially. When I called and spoke to the receptionist about my disappointment with the examination and advice that was given, I was told a manager would follow up with me. Nobody ever called me to follow up. Because I was advised by this vet to leave the wart untreated, it grew so big that I took it to an emergency vet. This vet told me because the wart was left so long it was untreatable. My hamster died shortly after as the wart grew to an unmanageable size. If my pet would have received care from a knowledgeable vet when the wart first appeared, it would not have died prematurely. DO NOT TAKE YOUR SMALL ANIMAL HERE!!!!!

Very friendly and caring staff. My senior matlese poodle had to have his teeth extracted, they ended up pulling out 6 teeth. I was very worried and scared but they did an amazing job and my dog was back to his normal self the next day! Thank you for doing such a great job.

My toy poodle Sadie has been at this veterinary clinic since she was a small puppy!! They did her spay many years back, and she was in very good hands, recovering quickly without complications. She also gets annual check up and vaccinations with whichever veterinarians are available, all of which have been patient to address my own concerns and questions. The staff are empathetic and friendly, and don't hesitate to help when we need it. Thank you guys for taking such good care of my dog :)

Dr. Cheng has always treated our pets with care and compassion. We are very grateful to have found her. The vet technicians are always also lovely, and it's always pleasant to communicate with the front desk.

UPDATE: The response below from OAK Animal Hospital is not an honest response. What I have a problem with is that I was never told about my pet having dental disease. My issue is not with the cost, I called for a cleaning and they told me he had dental disease and it would be $1600-1900 and I didn’t understand why. That is NOT the point, the point is I as the owner was not aware of ANY dental disease, let alone MODERATE. They claim that they mentioned this back in February at an unrelated visit, that my Boyfriend was at with me, he does not remember anyone saying anything about dental disease. they did not mention anything about dental disease in February, just that he needs a cleaning. I as a responsible and caring owner would have remembered that and taken action. It was mentioned today over the phone months later. Not only am I disappointed in the care we have received, I am utterly appalled at the dishonest response I have received. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS THERE IS A PATTERN HERE that is undeniable. It’s easier to lie when there is an issue than come forward and say a huge mistake was made. Truly shocking.Brought my dog in this year in February due to coughing. Vet treated his coughing, and at the end of the appointment told me to “get dogs teeth cleaned.” My dog is very anxious and I gave him some time before calling today to book a cleaning. Receptionist looked up his chart and said there was a note from last visit that said he had “moderate dental disease.” This is the first time I am hearing this and it was NEVER communicated to me, but was just put on his chart. Absolutely appalling that the vet would say “needs teeth cleaned” to me, but on his chart it says he has moderate dental disease. I asked the receptionist why this was not communicated to me at all, instead of taking ownership she deflected and asked me if I brush my dogs teeth every day, and if I take care of his oral health. She explained that smaller dogs are more prone etc. that is not the point. The point is that something serious was not communicated to me as a pet owner. I’m really disappointed in the care we have received here over the years.

Dr Mann is Amazing, a Brilliant Vet, compassionate, shows Daisy so much love and attention, is extremely patient and has a superb bedside manner with us humans. DrMann has been taking care of our Rescue Dog Daisy since we got her. It has been 3 years of constant care due to Daisies complex and multiple health issues.Dr Mann has been on top of it all and thanks to his diligence and care our Daisy Dog leads a comfortable and quality lifestyle with her many health issues under control. Dr Mann monitors Daisy regularly with confidence in how he approaches his treatment plan. He always follows up with a phone call asking how Daisy is doing after a visit when she has been sick had surgery or an invasive procedure.Dr Mann is our Vet hero.

We had our dog tooth surgery and neutering here. After the neutering, one of the sutures came out and we got worried so we sent a photo to them and they replied back to us very promptly saying not to worry.Highly recommend this place! The receptionist here is very nice! She’s a gem!

Edit: unimpressed with Dr. Mann's response to this review.Shortly after posting it, my boyfriend received a call from Dr. Mann. His is the number on file for our cat. Despite reaching the wrong person, Dr. Mann wanted to know why I had made a negative review and didn't want to end the call when my partner said he was busy. Be prepared, if you describe your experience you might receive an uncomfortable call asking about it!This vet deals with small animals, and I had nothing but good experiences when I brought my rats in (about five years ago now). Five stars! The vets were gentle, kind, and helpful. However, now that I have a cat, I cannot say I've had the same experience. Definitely a two star kind of time. Basically the vet I've seen (Dr. Sandeep Mann) seems very willing to promote unnecessary and expensive procedures. An example: he recommended surgery to remove a lump that he had confirmed was benign. It felt as though he was more focused on increasing the vet bill, and less on our cat's health. Similarly, he recommended a very expensive dental procedure that required anesthetic, before recommending diet change, tooth brushing, or dental treats that would have addressed the tooth staining. If you are concerned about finances, or unnecessary stress on your pet, I would recommend getting a second opinion elsewhere.
