Peace and Friendship Park
Not much to see. Good playground equipment for kids. Near busy roads, no restrooms (nearest are at the Westin hotel and the grocery store). The lawn is often used for rallies. The area has cultural significance because the statue of a colonial figure was removed and the name of the park changed (it was formerly known as Cornwallis park).

Peace and Friendship Park
Peace and Friendship Park is a great spot to meet with someone, but it's quite open and doesn't feel private or intimate. It's also a great spot for rally and demonstrations and public gatherings, in because of the plinth that used to host a statue, and also because of the open access on all 4 sides and decent parking nearby. Having it remain open and public makes it a great asset to the city.

Small park, very accessible, and lots of seating. This park has a playground and is close to a large chain grocery store. The park looks very well maintained and while there, the automatic cleaners went by cleaning the walking portion of the park. This park is also used as a common site for demonstrations.

Peace and Friendship Park
Great little playground with swings and slides and a neat set that resembles a train. The ground is a soft rubber that does heat up on hot days so bare feet become impossible. There's no water fountains either so make sure to bring some since there's so much to do, kids tend to want to stay extra long.

Peace and Friendship Park
Great park for kids at the heart of Halifax. Children have lots of options to play here. This is a dog friendly park. Has a great surrounding neighborhood

Clean park, a lot of car and foot traffic around the park, cool statue, nice big eerie house next to it.

It's a nice park with new and clean activity stuff. My 14mo really enjoyed his first time today. It's at a perfect location right opposite the superstore. Probably going again there soon.

We got off our cruise ship and just wanted to let the kids run and play. The park was close to the port. And it was clean and safe. The kids had plenty there to keep them active. A nice little park ❤️
