Chicago Deli Express

Visiting the area and found this little gem by accident last week. I had the double assorted sub and it’s up there as one of the top subs I’ve ever had. Loaded with high quality meats and cheeses, and the fresh bread was awesome. I made a return trip today and again was not disappointed. Great food and service!

I’ve been coming here since the beginning & there’s a reason I don’t go anywhere else. The sandwiches are the best in town, hands down. You WILL NOT find a better quality sub or sandwich.Bread, meat & veggies are always fresh and tasty. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. A quality sandwich that leaves you nice and full.I’ve had quite a bit from the menu and they’re all great but the stand outs for me are the Chicago classic, the Steak & bull and the chicken parm.Just to reiterate, you will not find a better sandwich joint around, and if by some reason you think you have, hit me up, you probably won’t though ;)

Have been coming back to this place time and time again because they make the best sandwiches in Whitby. You can tell the freshness of the ingredients without fail, and the bread is perfectly crunchy with or without being toasted with garlic butter. Not much pricier than your average meal at any of the chain restaurants but the difference in both quality and quantity is insane. Have been recommending this place any chance I get.

Sandwiches are a good size for this price. Definitely one of my favourite lunch spots! Had the salmon salad sandwich, which had a very good amount of salmon.

We thought we would try this place out for the first time. Owner and staff were extremely nice and friendly and the place smelled delicious. We decided to order their home made meatball sandwich and everything about it was delicious from the meatballs to the lightly toasted garlic bread they came on. It was so filling that we still have half the sandwich leftover! We couldn't help ourselves and decided to also pick up their small (good size) Italian meat sandwich which is said to be clients favorite. It looks delicious..tomorrow's lunch covered. Since everything is homemade we decided to order their lasagna for 2 and their shepherd's pie for 2 for later this week. The owner even gave us two home baked cookies for free. Those will be eaten with a cup of tea later tonight. I wanted to post a pic of the meatball sandwich but the site won't allow me to. If you haven't tried this place and enjoy authentic homemade Italian food then this is the place to go! Located in Whitby on Gerrard Street just south of Rossland.

Loved this place, I talked to the owners and they are lovely people who made make experience so great!! Definitely a hidden gem and should get more recognition that what they are currently getting, I would recommend the Chicago white six sandwich and the chicken Parmesan sandwich as well.Highly recommend this place !!!

This was my first time ordering from here through skip. I ordered the 12 inch Chicagoland- Double assorted sandwich, the bun was toasted with garlic butter. The sandwich was really good, super tasty and massive .. Definitely way bigger than subways foot long. I also got the chocolate chip cookies and the Tiramisu cake. The cookies were warm, soft and very delicious! The tiramisu was also delicious and a good size for the price. I'm definitely ordering from here again ☺️

Work at a Dealership nearby and come every week and The Sandwiches are amazing and the Owner actually cares that your happy!! If your looking for good service and Great food this is the place to be!! Oh and now sometime on Saturdays we all get it for lunch which can be 12 sandwiches and we never have to wait, it's ready for pick-up.

One of the best meatball sandwiches I've had in a long time! You definitely need to try this place!
