Woodland Gardens Park- Duck Pond Bridgewater
During the pandemics' early months, I wrote an episodic story for my grandson. It was about a turtle who lived in this pond. It was a common Eastern Painted Turtle, who considered himself an uncommon turtle. I called him Junior! Any sunny day, you can find the Turtles basking on logs leaning against the bank. 13 is the most I have counted, last year on 1 log. This year, these photos show 10 on two logs. The most I have counted this year. I believe the 3rd turtle on the 4 turtle log" is Junior

Very nice park with off trails to take you in diffrent directions of that side of town. Signs of things about the park are posted all around the pond and you get to enjoy ducks swimming by and maybe spot a turtle or muskrat

Always a good time feeding the ducks and walking around the pond. Remember to NOT feed the ducks bread! It's bad for their health! There's a kids playground up by the outdoor pool that's accessible from the trails.

I go there a lot it's a great walk you can do the loop a few times and there's always great views all year long.
