The Pharmacy of the Shoppers Drug Mart @ Park and King on Warren ave. in Oshawa never answer their phone calls, I called one night 4 times and finally got through on the 4th time someone picked up and hung up and did not even say anything. Learn how to answer your phone calls ! Terrible customer service ! Zero Stars!

Open 24 hours, very convenient especially for parents with small children that need a pharmacy in the middle of the night if medication is needed for the family, or even people who work night shift.And need to shop after work.It's definitely convenient.More locations should be open 24hours

The worst experience at a pharmacy I have ever had. Just released from St.Mikes for 5 broken ribs and a collapsed lung, and this pharmacist thinks he’ll play hardball and deny my prescription from St. Mikes because its missing a signature. I even have my hospital bracelet still on, all my discharge papers including The medicine I’m supposed to have for pain. He pretends to call St.Mikes. Four hours later i call in and he says they never called back (he picked up after a 30 minute wait). I called St. Mikes and they answered immediately , and called in while I was standing there; the pharmacist was called on 101 and did not pick up. I had to tell him to pick up the call three times before he would. He has said he will fill it but not right away (because he’s so busy at midnight, when indeed the place is empty).So I get to be in pain longer because of this guys stubborn arrogance. Nope. Do better Shoppers. You’ve lost me for shoppers and all affiliated companies. You can burn my damn optimum points for all I care.

My spouse visited this afternoon March 24, 2023. She chose a Cosmetic that clearly had a sale sign for $8.99. At the self checkout the price was $16.49. She asked the checkout clerk and was referred to the cosmetic department. The cosmetic clerk acknowledged that she had just taken down the sale sign. Out of frustration my wife got a complete refund and walked out. Our understanding is that a retail operation has to honour a posted price even if it is an error on their part. There is no answer when I call.

Useless pharmacist. I asked him to prescribe me allergy pills as I ran out of refills and couldn’t get into my doctor. He had no idea what he was doing. Told me it’s not within his scope to prescribe me allergy medication when it clearly states on the Ontario government site that pharmacist are able to prescribe allergy medication now. Went to a different shoppers and no problem, got the medication after answering a few questions. Get a new pharmacist! Or send Peter back to school!

45 mins to count out 40 pills...I understand there is other stuff to be done aswell but really, 45 mins to count some pills is abit over the top. I was the only 1 waiting in store and i could have been sent on my way in about 2 minutes with my pills...guy was nice enough but time to get some faster workers or assistants working with him at all hours if this is how fast they move by themselves...to bad shoppers has a monopoly on the market or we might actually have a drug store with some decent service...

Was here Sunday April 16th at about 10:40 PM. First of all, I NEVER write reviews. I understand the nature of customer service. BUT, I frequent this location almost every week. Came in to find a certain self tanner but couldn't locate it in the cosmetics section, later found an alternative in the summer/seasonal section, but went back to cosmetics to take a look incase I missed it. The cosmetics employee that was on the floor at that time said to me that cosmetics can ONLY be purchased at the cosmetics counter. First of all, this is not true, but went on with my browsing and continued to the self checkout. She then APPROACHES me in the middle of my purchase at the self checkout to say that I COULD NOT purchase the item there (even though I didn’t even get it from the cosmetics section) she was insistent. I just wanted to purchase my item on my own and leave to be honest. I politely asked why, after each time she said I could not, knowing the reason they push you to cash-out at the cosmetics section is because they make commission. (I have NO problem with this but the employee did not even acknowledge me at all or help me with my selection. The first words out of her mouth were a lie) she continued to almost demand me to go to the cosmetics counter to cash out because “they need to keep all the cosmetics in the same place”, and what I was doing was “bad” ...what? I finished the interaction with letting her know I’m aware its because you get commission, she followed with “whats your problem?” just be honest that you wanted a cut of the sale or get better at selling? I’ve had amazing shoppers cosmetic employees that offer free samples or guidance in exchange that I choose to cash out with them. This employee was abrasive from the jump. Training needed asap. Yikes

The Pharmacist during night shift is Rude and disrespectful not only that when i asked him regarding my 3 year old Allergies medicine Benadryl instead suggesting or not making any comments if he didn’t wanted to; he sarcastically replied to me with smirk.Pharmacy owner: i could have said wrong word to him too but i chose not to, i would suggest you train your staff to be professional, polite and respectful. This is just poor act, and ask him to work little faster and co-operate people.

The women working in the pharmacy have a horrible customer service and poor manners. I was today in te store around 1pm having a migraine and feeling bad and music in the store was excessive loud like a never see it in others pharmacy, I tell one of the young pharmacist if it was posible to turn it down because was to loud and people like me go with migraines or/and not feeling well… the pharmacist completely ignored me, make not comment, she just did and upset face and sent me to pick up my prescription. I bring the matter to the next girl who give me my prescription and seems I so the same bad actitud as the first one and requested to speak to the store manager… she doesn’t ever bother to call him. I bring the matter to the third woman, the one that supposed to explain me about my prescription and no much difference. Hopefully the store manager read this and train this woman or hired more compassionate people, with better manners and better customer service.

I love the store, but...I went to grab garbage bags and dish soap at about 7 am Tuesday morning. There was no employee around, but a security guard who seems annoyed that I even enetered. The ONLY human interaction I had was the security guard Hollering at me to STOP when I headed for the door so he can make sure that I paid for the bag that I was made to cash myself out for. He made me feel unwelcome, and I wish I could say a positive thing about the experience. I am leaving this review because I understand loss prevention is crucial and shrink is high, but this is like sales prevention, because now I feel more comfortable going somehwere else.
