Great meal, great service. Large selection of scotches. Quality of food seems high, both in content and in the cooking. Scottish flavours and themes. Enjoyed the waiter's good nature. No negatives. There was a slight wait for the food but we'll worth it.

I would give it closer to 4.5 stars if it was an option. It's been a few years since I have been to The Bothy but I was happy to see that the food is as good as ever. Very cozy and warm space with an EXTENSIVE wine by the glass and whisky menu (duh!). 2oz wine options are fun - then you can easily have 9, right?! The entrees - short ribs and Half Honey smoked roast chicken (I think that's the title for the dish) were both delicious and worth the money. The charcuterie, while delicious, was a bit overpriced.. particularly the sous vide tenderloin. I would concentrate on entrees and apps if money is a concern and you arrive hungry. Overall, a great night out! Pictured is the charcuterie ($12 tenderloin in top left corner), wine flight, and the chicken with Caesar salad substituted for the polenta.

Being what it is, the Whiskey options were great, however I found the food was mediocre at best. The charcuterie had some different options but was a lot of money compared to some other comparable restaurants in the area. We had a cold soup served and we were told it was so we could taste the flavour better". Anyways

Came with a group of 6 - the best were the mussels appetizers and the pies for entrees. The pork chop special was also delicious! Chris, our server, was running the whole place by himself like a champ! Will definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone.

Had a great night out with my friends. Enjoyed the featured flight along with charcuterie. I had the Short Ribs for my entree and it was delicious. I continued the evening with a couple sours and ipa. Service was excellent.

Great spot with an awesome atmosphere. We did both the wine and whisky Samplers (Flights) with the Charcuterie board. Uike.most places we got to choose our own cheese and meets.This was a fun night for sure.

We went here for the first time on New Year's Eve with friends who are repeat customers and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!We were lucky to have made a reservation in advance and the house was packed when we got there. Despite this, the service was great and even when I had dietary questions and concerns, not only my server, but a member of the kitchen staff helped me figure out the safest thing for me to eat. The food came out as requested and it tasted amazing!I even found a new whisky to buy!Thank you for turning my spouse and me into repeat customers as we will be back for sure!

Great atmosphere and the food is delicious. If you like Scotch and whiskey I will highly recommend visiting. If you want to learn or sample, they are very welcoming and friendly. They have daily specials that are a great value.
