Happy Can Bottle Depot

Very disappointed today in the service. There was a senior lady that was taking her bottles in and was struggling this staff didnt even offer to help her. I helped her.Very sad service. I told her next time East Hills is much better they even offer to carry your bottles in excellent service there.

Nice place as far as recycling depots go. Staff were friendly enough, quick, and the place was pretty clean. I really appreciated the customer washing station, noted photo in the review.

My bf had a bag of bottles he counted. There were 200 and the worker shorted him by 25 bottles. I am guessing she knows how to count. When he told her she called another guy that agreed with her count rather than his - no suggestion of recounting. Once she knew he had counted all the following bags she counted those bags correctly.

Our girl guide unit has partnered with Happy Can as we work on raising money to take our girls to Yellowknife next summer. We had a very successful first bottle drive with Happy Can. They were professional, prompt and very supportive. Looking forward to working with them again and highly recommend!

Terrible, I was looking at a different bottle depot to pickup my bottles and cans and when I spoke to the guy on the phone I had to repeat myself two times and then was told 4 big garbage bags was not enough for a pickup, no sorry about that no nothing. Not impressed whatsoever.

Extremely dishonest and rude. The only thing that I would suggest taking to this place to recycle is used Trucker Bombs. We sent bottles from office many times the staff member was saying we were being ripped off. We jokingly accused him holding back money from the office fund. At this place we regularly get about 2/3 of the normal amount. This happened 3~4 times. Next time I counted The bottles first and took in 300 cans just to test my theory. Should be $30. Paid only $20 as if we only had 200. They skimmed 1/3 of the cans from the return. I told the manager about this and he was very confrontational and rude. I would not want to work a t a bottle depot and the staff probably deserve better pay, however no excuse for them to short a person’s return

Called them to have my bottles picked up, picked up no problem, zero idea if it was actually this company because I've had zero communication since.Website states receiving an etransfer within 24 hours of bottles being picked up, that time has passed and can't get ahold of anyone. Won't be using them again

Well it was pretty good . The employees are respectful and efficient. If there is a line , you won't have to wait long . I find that there counts are accurate. It's pretty clean for a bottle depot . It's only one block from Marlborough bottle depot which makes it very accessable. There is a depot closer to my house but I choose to go to this one as I get much better service . I haven't had a single bad experience there and I will continue to give them my business. I am giving them 5 stars because it's the best depot that I know of in this city .

Its not very busy here so nice and relaxing and they counted our cans and bottles properly compared so some places where im convinced they shorted us. Very sanitary to, they were moping as we were doing our cans & bottles. Well be coming here from now on.
