We spent time at Adam Lake Campground which was very nice! We adventured to complete the Oskar Lake Canoe Route which was and adventure that having a 20’ rope helped in order to pull the Kayaks up a couple of steep inclines. The signage was good until we arrived at the James Lake Cabin area, at which point in time no portage signs could be found. We ended up turning back because of limited daylight. Non the less an adventure worth embarking on!

Beautiful place, but no mountains and no turtles :)It’s a nice park with numerous equipped camp grounds, very friendly staff. Worth going for 3-4 days to connect with mother nature. Don’t forget mosquitoes spray!!!

Turtle Mountain Provincial Park
Wonderful wooded campsites with plenty of privacy. Electric and water at our site. There was a warning about minor water contamination, but safe for showers, etc, just not the best drinking water. Some sites with significant slope in driveway but most leveled nicely in parking area. Large lovely swimming beach and playground area.

Large Provincial Park located on the USA/Canada Border just south of Boissevain Manitoba. Lots of trials and activities nearby. A couple campgrounds are located in/around the park. Worth the visit.

This is the place I go to get away from it all. Protection from the shell of the Turtle mountain. I feel safe surrounded by all the beauty of the Manitoba bush. With the beautiful town of Boissevain a hop skip and a jump away, it is always a pleasure!!

Beautiful place to spend few days . We stayed by lake view but there is very few things to rely on . The electric showers are on the other side of the highway as well as shower. If you come with a RV does not matter but if you are tenting like me I did miss a bit of comfort for a clean washroom at least and waking shower. The water is ok to swim but by the beach only. To have a better swimming experience you must drive to William Lake Provincial Park that is just 15 min drive . They have spring water but crowed camping sites . Sites in Adam lake are more spacious and the lake view is great to just take a little boat in a walking distance . Beautiful sunsets on our camping site .

I have been here twice. Camped a few years ago and did a 15 km hike this week. The trails are very well maintained and wide. However, they are a little boring. Not much to see as they are so well maintained and the hike is very easy. May be great for kids or amateurs. Would be great in winter for skiing and fatties biking. I did see a porcupine on the trail witch was cool. There are warming cabins with outhouses and wood burning stoves at each rally point. The walk can be long or short and the trails are very well marked.
