Food was amazing. I ordered their cheese burger with fries and added fried onions + bacon. It came with soup either a tomato or turkey soup. I went for the tomato soup which was well seasoned and thick with chunks of tomato and maybe chickpeas. The burger itself was very juicy all the toppings were perfect. Great meat to bun ratio. The fries were fresh cut and crispy.The service was polite but prompt due to how busy the place was.

Finally got a chance to try out this little diner at the end of April. Food is actually much better than what you'd May expect and the service was friendly and helpful.Tried the braised short rib benedict, French toast with fried chicken and their raspberry pomegranate iced tea (comes served by the litre). While the iced tea was not very pomegranate tasting, the Benedict was really good and the short ribs were fork tender. They even had complimentary soup (celery soup and seafood bisque). Both served piping hot, my fav was the flavorful bisque.Definitely a good place to grab a bite.

I've been working in the area since August and after my first visit few months back I've been hooked. I notice that there are mostly regulars that come in as I am one of them now. The daily menu is always great to check out as there's always something new to try. There's always 2 choices of soup included and they're always so good. The food is always so well done and the staff are all so great. I come here at least 2x a week now. Very comfortable spot. Love it!

Cute diner looking place with a great vibe. It feels like you've time travelled to past :)Went here for brunch, and the place was packed with a couple of tables available. The food was great, didn't try any desserts, will have to try next time.Espresso based coffee (latte) was mediocre at best, I would just stick to brewed coffee.Service was great, welcoming, and attentive

What a unique place. It has the look of a greasy spoon diner but the food is amazing. The food variety itself is astonishing: confy duck is on the menu (which changes daily) alongside burgers, stir fry, curry,... The service is warm and smiley and one can tell there are many regulars. A real gem

I do not live in Vancouver and I had a craving for food. I looked up the closest restaurant to where I was at the time and Argo Cafe came up. It is a small hole in the wall restaurant but the food was great. We got there at 2:15 and they close at 3. We got our food by 2:25 and finished eating by 2:55.We ordered their Beef and Pork special and it came with their beef/lamb and barley soup. I have tried lamb in the past and I couldn't stomach the taste. This restaurant, they managed to blend the lamb and beef well enough that I really liked their soup. Next time I am in Vancouver, I am definitely going to try them again!
