La Broquerie Golf Course - (formerly La Vérendrye Golf)

Excellent round of golf. Course was in great shape and wasn't over crowded. Highly recommend going for a round here

Was my first time here for dinner at the grill. Service staff was friendly and polite. Ordered our meals with water after 23 minutes our food came and again we asked for water as they had forgotten. So first off was not pleased we sat there without a drink while waiting. I ordered the mozza burger and my partner had a chili burger and we both shared a large poutine. Both burgers were flavourful but I felt over priced for the size they were. Ordered with lettuce and tomatoes which was an extra charge. As for the poutine it was more gravy than anything and was very salty tasting. I’m not a big fan of salty gravy (if that’s your thing though I’m sure you’d like it.) The fries were soft and fell apart from being drenched in the gravy. Not sure I’d go back as I said for the amount of food it was overpriced compared to other places I’ve been in the area. I gave it a 2 star only cuz felt over priced and waited over 20 min for glass of water which is unacceptable to me in a place that was not busy at all.

Great track , fairways are nice with good space to work with. The greens don’t have a flat spot on them and you need to work on them ,they will add strokes .Going back Monday morning enjoyed this course.

Been a member for two years. Great course, great staff, excellent smokies. They clearly care a great deal about the quality of the course and seem to be constantly elevating the course design and experience. I look forward to many more years of golf. If only I was better at it!

Really beautiful and fun golf course ruined by golfers with absolutely no understanding of the games rules or etiquette, and the horrible pace of play if you're not out before 10am. Needs a marshall/starter desperately. Or just some enforcement of tee times! I always walk up to #1 tee about 5 to 10 mins before my tee time and theres groups that dont tee off for 30 mins already waiting to hit and disrupting the reserved order. How does anyone think that's okay?? Yet it's the norm at La Broquerie. Not a member friendly club for these reasons in my opinion. Otherwise though the staff are really great and nice people and I enjoyed my Saturday morning tee time all summer. It's really just a shame that it's such a circus with the golfers

Course is in very good condition. Challenging if playing from blue tees. Fun to play and managed to play 18 in just over 3 hours on Canada Day. Food in the clubhouse is really good

Great updates done to the course. Love playing the holes the new way round feels like it makes way more sense. Can't wait to see it in the near future when everything is done
