i ordered the seafood linguini. the pasta and sauce were incredible!!!! the shrimp and the garlic toast were the best!!!!! it was my first time trying mussels and bacon wrapped scallops and they were not my personal favorite but thats okay! i wanted to try something new. i ordered the blue hawaiian (tequila i think, blue curacao) and the hurricane (white rum, dark rum) cocktail, and i also had another cocktail of which i don't remember the name, but it was listed on the menu as a *fan favorite* and it WAS literally the most incredible drink. i wish i could have had three of those. it is the large pink one pictured below. my favorites in order were: 1) that pink drink 2) the blue hawaiian 3) the hurricanethe staff, my waitress and another waiter in particular were so kind and always friendly and patient. they always checked in on me and asked if i wanted more to drink and if i liked my food, which i appreciate because i'm too nervous to grab a waiter's attention myself. they also checked in on me multiple times when a couple men were talking to me. i really appreciated their kindness even when it was late at night and after the kitchen had closed.

Nice spot for a dinner with lots of fresh seafood options. Service was ok - staff were nice but not checked up on as much as I would expect. Would be a great spot when the weather is nice and could sit on the patio. We shared the east coast crab cakes - delicious! Not too bready, lots of crab meat, and paired with a jerk aioli and pineapple salsa. I had the seafood linguini which had lots of seafood but the sauce was very rich and heavy. The fish and chips were nicely crisped, not overly battered and fried - just how we like it! I would return to try other menu items.

Beautiful place and amazing food but don't go there too hungry because the wait for food was very, very lonnnggg! Also, the heat in this place was like an inferno...we all had beads of sweat pouring from us. In which case they are really shooting themselves in the foot because restaurant atmosphere should be slightly cooler so people feel like eating. I don't think we will he returning anytime soon.

I want to rate this place higher, but I cannot....When we entered, we noticed it was chilly. I asked the hostess about sitting outside, but she said it might rain and we can't guarantee you can come back in. We stayed inside and ordered drinks. We noticed other folks wanting to sit outside were given a variety of excuses why they should not. We asked our waitress about adjusting the temperature. She looked at her watch and said the AC is on a timer and is going off very soon.Meanwhile ice cold air was blowing hard. It kept getting colder. We ordered food and while waiting and waiting for delivery, I again asked about the air conditioning. At this point I was basically told they are not in control of the AC and can't adjust the temperature, and it was not going off.I had ordered my food, and I was angry. I was LIED to. The waitress lied. At this point, other folks slowly migrated outside. The wait staff was not happy about having to serve outside. And their faces showed it.I expressed my dissatisfaction of COLD FOOD, COLD FEET, COLD FINGERS, and LIES...etc with an appropriately cold tip.I cannot go back to a restaurant that can't keep the environment within a reasonable temperature. And I don't return when waitresses lie.If you go, take a parka, hat and gloves. Expect you food to go ice cold before you can eat it. I think the food was okay, but I only ate a few bites before it went cold.

Really nice restaurant food but in a really weird setting. The tables feel like you are sitting in a cafeteria but the food is fancy. We had the special which was blackened salmon with blueberry . We feel like for the price of the food we should have gotten more veggies atleast. I understand its for presentation but i was hungry 2 hours later.

We reserved for 5 the gable was for four. Staff are untrained and take their good old time. We had two main courses and 4 appetizers as there was little to no vegan options. One tiny glass of wine and one beer for over $200. Service took forever food underwhelming. We wanted dessert and coffees but after waiting 40 minutes we got the bill and left. Wing be going back.

This place has a very high rating, but maybe just when compared to other places around Sydney. In real life, for us, it was a very mediocre place.Let's start with benefits - available close parking, nice atmosphere with a view, and super friendly and professional staff.However, the food is not as good. The lobster was good, but the ribs were boiled I guess and then smothered in bbq sauce before they were served. The burgers were also just fine, nothing extra ordinary. Maybe you can come here to enjoy a drink, but not for a bigger meal in my opinion.

Lovely place with a great view of the water. Went on a rainy day but would love to go back when it’s sunny. The seafood tasted fresh and everything was delicious.
