YMCA-YWCA Westhills

This is a nice facility. They offer free play care service while adults spend their time at gym or pool. The facility is clean and has many rooms for different activities. What I don't like about this place is that it's too busy and it's only going to get busier with so many families moving into Langford. At one point, there was almost no space to move around in the pool. Gym is also always full at night but there is enough machine to go around.

Very nice new building that very few people can use because the hours of operation are so limited. No working people can use it between the short time window it’s open, so that leaves seniors who can’t afford it (the senior discounts start at 80 years old!!!! Insanity) and kids.I won’t be renewing my membership until hours of operation are increased.It’s a shame.

Great facility and convenient location with lots of parking.The aquatic facilities are great, hot tub, steam room and sauna are always piping hot.Convenient pool schedule and clean facility.Bailey at the front desk is a gem and very out going for all the members.Definitely recommend.

Facilities are nice and new, yet the majority of attendees in the gym are groups of middle and high school kids, standing around in packs of 4-5 for each bench and machine, flirting with each other and talking about parties and hooking up, and taking pictures of themselves in the mirror.Unfortunately the gym is only open until 7:45 pm so perhaps if it was later then the kids would have to go home to make their curfew and leave the gym for adults. On the other hand, it’s nice to see them getting into fitness instead of other things.The price is fine and the staff are nice. I appreciate the family membership.

this applies to YMCA phone service,i was highly impressed by the client care service of the company.Not only was i greeted with a very easily navigated automated greeting, the automated recording was in fact the same person who answered when i opted to speak with a representative. This kind of personalized phone interaction reassured me of their dedication to providing quality services to their aquatics and fitness clients.I will never be late night browsing private gym memberships again, they are overpriced and client care is rarely ever a true concern.YMCA thank you for your quick, clear information and i hope you are just as good to your employees as you are with your clients.They deserve the respect and praise for making my life much easier.thank you again.

Nice building, pool lane schedule and closing of it is hit and miss. The gym is awesome when it's not packed with high school kids standing around at the machines on there phones chatting. Not sure on the answer to this but certainly needs attention and improvement. Asap...Plus side lots of parking, staff are great,pool's are nice and classes are good.

We tried to come to the family swim on Sunday that started at 12:00 pm. When we arrived at 12:00 pm there were two lines and we were standing in one of the lines for ten minutes to find out that it was for memebership. Though we had membership previously the employee asked us to join the other line where 20 people were standing. The lines moved super slow and we realized that we would get to the pool in 30 minutes and will have one hour for swimming. Paying 40 dollars for an hour of swimming is too much. We were not satisfied with the service and there could be a sign for members only initially. Please make something better as we like your swimming pool, but not ready to stay an hour in a line.

I went here for a month.. it's a decent Rec centre but to keep me, they'd have to provide an adult discount.. hours are limited there due to the teenage crowd from 3:30 onward and the fact you aren't able to use facilities like the hot tub and sauna due to staff shortages.. give a discount. It's not our fault you don't have the staff!!

Such a rip off! I wanted to enroll the kids for summer swimming lessons, registration starts on Jun26, however I have to pay in full for Jun membership in order to join the class in July, even only 4 days left and we’re not going to use the facilities at all! ridiculous policy!
