Quebec Photoshoot & Elopement

Sunny is extremely talented. We couldn’t believe how our photos turned out— we felt beautiful and seen. We walked around Old Quebec with our bare faces, a random coffee that we’ve just ordered, our mini backpack that we’ve traveled with on many places. It didn’t made sense at first, but she asked us to keep these things on… and these details made the photos exactly us, in our most authentic and natural selves. We’ve had so many compliments on how beautiful the pictures were, and my partner kept raving on and on how amazing Sunny is: how she made us comfortable, eased her when she was internally panicking while having a very public shoot, and kept us laughing with her funny jokes and sunny (no pun intended) disposition. And I agree, wholeheartedly. She’s one of the best decisions I’ve made, and you can’t go wrong hiring her as your photographer on your Quebec trip. It was worth every penny. Thank you, Sunny.

We hired Sunny for our intimate wedding in Québec City. She wears her name well as she's really a ray of sunshine. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her. She's very fun and laidback yet knowledgeable of her art and the city. The whole family loved the experience and even more the magical pictures we got after. It was a great experience to find a hidden places in old quebec with SunnyPhotographer. Sunny knows the beautiful places of Quebec City.At first I was embarrassed to take pictures in front of people passing by, but Sunny made me comfortable and kept me focused.I want to say that this is a talent.Anyway, look at those photos!! I’m writing this review to give my highest recommendation for Sunny. My son and daughter-in-law were recently married in Quebec City. From the start, Sunny was very responsive and helpful in the planning aspect. She was highly professional, extremely prompt and went above and beyond what was expected. Sunny made everyone feel at ease, which no doubt contributed to the beautiful and natural photos that we now have. She also somehow seamlessly navigated the many photo sessions which included some amazing shots of various places in Old Quebec. The wedding was chronicled from start to finish and included numerous photos of family and friends; no one was left out. And somehow she managed to catch everyone in a photogenic light. Honestly, I’m not sure how she accomplished so much! Additionally Sunny had the photoshoot portfolio completed in an amazingly short turnaround time. In summary, Sunny certainly captured the magic of James and Roni’s wedding, and we are so grateful to Sunny that we will forever have these incredible photos as a reminder of the joy, love and happiness that was shared and felt by all.

We organized a destination wedding in QC and decided to work with a local photographer. Sunny was a brilliant gift to our wedding! She joined us for a first look, photographed the wedding, guests and reception. Her pictures are filled with love, had great composition, lots of movement, made everyone look great and she captured multiple micro-moments with her expert eyes. She was also kind, sweet and funny. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how great she was and threatened to kidnap her and bring her with us to London, ON. We had all our raw edits (which are almost perfect) within one week and she was also very thorough during the planning process. Can't recommend her enough!

We had the best time with Sunny!!! Despite the fact that it was a blistery hot 40 degrees outside, sunny made the whole experience enjoyable. She took us to so many great historical spots/photo ops, filled our heads with interesting facts about Quebec, and took amazing photos that we will cherish forever!!!

Sunny was simply amazing taking photos at our wedding and the results were better than we could have ever dreamed of. She knows Quebec City so well, ensuring to capture iconic architecture while making you feel at ease during the shoot. How she walked backwards down petit champlain on the last day of summer with crowds everywhere, I will never know. Equally, how she managed to make us the focus of the photo with so many others around, was impressive. The photos themselves are stunning, each one different and capturing a slightly different emotion or part of the day. Our portfolio of photos were not only exquiste but they perfectly captured every moment of the day and every guest we had. I would recommend Sunny in a heartbeat. Sunny was an absolute joy! From the beginning, she was very friendly and brought a very positive attitude to the session. She was very open to suggestions, but also provided great guidance in terms of locations and poses. It was very easy to be in front the of camera with her--even my fiancé had a good time. It was also great to take advantage of her tour guide knowledge and get to know the city more.
