We've loved our time at K-W Neurovision! My son had benefitted tremendously from all the skills he's learned. Although my son has excellent vision, he was struggling to read because his eyes and brain weren't communicating well. The staff are all very kind and knowledgeable, and they go to great lengths to tailor the program for the individual. Because of this program, he's now reading like a champ! A special shout out to Reena for being patient and kind with my son, and helping him achieve so many of his reading goals!

My son was referred for vision therapy at KW NeuroVision. Our experience has been excellent. Reena was wonderful, patient and encouraging with our 6yr old.

I have nothing but great things to say about KW Neurovision. As an adult they helped diagnose a reading difficulty I had my whole life which made reading an arduous task. I wish I found KW Neurovision earlier – it would have made my educational journey so much easier. Many of my elementary and high school teachers did not think I had a reading difficulty because I was top of my class but having this undiagnosed reading difficulty meant that to get the same high grades as my classmates, it took hours longer. In the vision therapy program, it was specialized to my visual difficulties and Dr. Dolman and Reena were always trying to push my visual system to its potential by coming up with new fun exercises that would slowly challenge me. Dr. Dolman and Reena are very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and caring to my concerns. I would highly recommend going to KW Neurovision, the visual system impacts many aspects of your life, not just visual, and KW Neurovision is committed to reaching your potential.

KW Neurovision has been an absolute godsend for my son. His grade 1 teacher last year recommended that we get him tested for visual perception issues. We had gone to another clinic in town but ultimately decided to work with KW Neurovision, and I am so glad that we made that decision. I have learned so much from them especially around primitive reflexes. And my son is making leaps and strides in his schoolwork and his ability to focus. If you’ve been hearing that your child has ADHD, or other focussing issues at school please consider getting tested here and using them for vision therapy. I promise you won’t regret this decision!

I can’t begin to say enough positive things about the KW NeuroVision program! After suffering from a concussion that left me a shell of my old self, KW NeuroVision gave me my life back!! I wasn’t able to work, drive, exercise or even go for a walk without feeling severe symptoms. Being a very independent and extremely active person to feeling like I couldn’t leave the house on my own, with no signs of improvement was extremely frustrating. It wasn’t until I saw Dr.Dolman and her vision therapist’s Reena and Karen that things started to improve. They explained that due to my concussion my brain and eyes were no longer functioning together in the normal way and this is what was causing my symptoms. To know that what I was feeling was normal for a concussion patient and that there was treatment available to correct my brain/eye imbalance gave me hope that I could function normal again. They set up a daily program with weekly office visits to monitor my progress. We started at the very basics and gradually over time progressed to advanced eye therapy. I will be the first to tell you that results do not come overnight but slowly over time. Eye exercises you struggle with one week become easier the next but most importantly the symptoms you once felt on a daily basis eventually disappear. I can’t thank Dr.Dolman, Reena and Karen enough for their knowledge, patience and kindness. Thanks to them I have my life back!!! THANK YOU KW NEUROVISION!!

I could not be more satisfied with the professional and friendly staff at KW NeuroVision. My son struggled to read and after a few months working through the program, he was well on his way and enjoying books. His grades improved and his confidence grew. This has been time well spent. Kw NeuroVision literally allowed me to see my world" again. I have had several concussions and my vision issues got to the point where I could no longer drive

I am very grateful for all the progress and healing that I have experienced from Vision therapy at KW Neurovision! I had a weak visual system as long as I can remember and have always suffered from a lot of migraines. I got covid, and right away I had blurry vision. Reading was very difficult since the words seemed to be pulled apart and grey. This got worse and worse, and more symptoms kept adding to my list of what I tried to hide and live with for a few months. Dr. Kim Dolman explained that this was starting to happen around the world to people who had weaker eyes. These patients were getting treated “as though they had a concussion”. I’ll never forget hearing this because I felt like maybe I wasn’t going crazy after all – my head felt awful, noise and light were painful, and I felt depressed because I couldn’t cope with anything. Reading screens always resulted with a bad headache. I could no longer work full time. I was advised to do Vision Therapy right away to hopefully prevent permanent damage. This is where my recovery journey happened; with Dr. Kim Dolman, my Specialist; and Reena, my Vision Therapist. With regular visits and activities to work on at home, the program was tailored to fit my unique needs. I had no idea how awful I felt, until I started feeling better! I avoided looking at a tree while I went past in a car because it was so blurry; but, after doing therapy for a time, I realized that I now loved looking at the individual branches! Not only on a tree, but in a bush! My eyes don’t hurt to see anymore! Blurriness is gone and my head feels so good! I had no idea that Vision Therapy could correct and strengthen my visual system so drastically! I am very thankful for the expertise, skills, patience, and friendliness at KW Neurovision. Dr. Kim Dolman, and Reena, you have made a life changing difference for me! Thank-You!

It was a pleasure to have visited KW Neuro Vision for my sons Vision Assessment.Dr. Dolman and her team made our experience wonderful. Dr. Dolman was very pleasant and made my son very comfortable during our visit.The staff was very courteous, friendly and informative.Reena (Vision Therapist) discussed and explained the findings of the assessment thoroughly.My son had some concerns with penmanship. An in depth vision assessment was conducted. There was a lot of unknown prior to attending. The assessment gave me answers about his vision; he had Amblyopia.We travelled from Mississauga to Kitchener-Waterloo and very glad to have attended.I highly recommend this clinic.Keep up the awesome work KW Neuro Vision!

I worked with Dr Dolman and my vision therapist Reena for the last 6 months after experiencing post concussion symptoms. After months of working together I was able to see significant improvement in my vision.Reena was great about modifying my homework when I went through more challenging times with symptoms. She was able to meet me where I was at and strategically create weekly programs that slowly but surely moved the needle forward.Dr Dolman has an incredible amount of knowledge around how our vision can affect other of our lives (in my case dizzinesss and balance issues) She has a gentle “bed-side” manner, shows empathy and makes you feel seen and heard, which is so needed for a patient who’s been struggling for a long time.Thank you so much for the care you’ve given me over the last 6 months.
