I've shopped there with my BF... a few times over the years. I find thestaff to be rude and unknowledgeable. I thought they were just aXXholesbut then I came across this review saying the staff is homophobes.yelp . ca / biz / the-smoke-zone-nanaimo (remove spaces for link)NOW it all makes sense!

I've been shopping here for my tobacco products for a long time now. They have great prices, really friendly folks, and I often recommend this place to people looking for cheaper options. I only buy tobacco products, but their selection is great and everything I own for rolling my own cigarettes comes from there including my Zippo and all of its supplies.

Great little shop with anything you could ever need. It is very clean and nice inside. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and are willing to help with anything. The prices are also really great. It's not expensive it is what a bong shop should be for prices. I would highly reccomend this shop and I will definitely be back again

Very clean, well stocked. If the store has a weakness it's that the incredibly low income of the area means they specialise in low end paraphernalia. Limited parking, newly metered.

Oh how I miss the good ol' days! This place used to be much different. Now everything is more expensive, even when inflation is taken into consideration, and the service has taken a turn for the worse. The atmosphere has become clique-ish and somewhat snobby.

These guys are attentive, knowledgeable, and real. So refreshing to have a retail environment where shopkeepers don't need to act like NPCs in a video game. No drone zone and excellent supply of adventuring accessories.

They sold me a little pen. I tried to make it work but couldn't figure it out. I went back and the guy was very polite and understanding of my stupidity, and showed me what I was doing wrong. I just gave it a try at home and it's pretty darn effective...can't comment on longevity of product, but seems good to start. The salesguy was friendly and I will come back again...tons of selection of sweet stuff. I tried calling, but their phone didn't ring thru ...that's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.
