First Line Walk-In Clinic
had an appointment at 12:30 to get travel shots, had to wait over 2 hours to even see the doctor. i was late to work as a result. i don’t understand the reason for booking appointments if you won’t be able to see the doctor at the stated time.***EDIT***we were not informed that we had to get our own medication for the vaccines. (correct me if i’m wrong but i have never been tasked to go and collect my own medication for a vaccine, i assumed since our appointment was booked for a vaccine we would have been supplied the medication???). when we returned with our medication we asked for the doctor to come see us, the reception said it was “our fault for not being prepared with the medication” and proceeded to talk about us with the pharmacist LOUDLY. the receptionist then went to the doctor and complained that we “yelled at her”.the pharmacist seemed nice enough, doctor was okay. the reception needs to practice better professionalism and needs to understand that speaking loudly about a patients appointment in a public setting has to be breaking confidentiality.

WORST RECEPTIONIST EVER.The first time I attempted to use their services (mid 2022) my 6 month old had an ear infection. However, no doctor was present for in person visits?! Most of the other people had to leave as they required a doctor to look at their issues. We all ended up down the street Walk-In Clinic Cambridge (140 Hespeler Road) and had much better service. The second time I attempted to use their services was May of 2023. I tried calling ahead to see if they had an actual doctor in person and the receptionist asked to place me on a brief hold which I accepted. After waiting awhile. I hung up waited a few minutes and called back, she picked up again and asked me to hold and I said I was previously on hold and she said it will just be another minute so fine, I waited again. 10 minutes go by so I decide to hang up and call back so I could simply throw in a quick question and ask if a doctor was available for an in person visit. Well then she starts dodging my calls sending me to vm or picking up and putting me on hold right away. This whole process took place over 40 minutes finally she picked up and I pleaded with her as quick as I could that I just wanted to know if a doctor was present. There was that time but it was such unnecessary nonsense to get a simple question answered.Such a poorly managed clinic.

This is the third time I came to First Line Walk-in Clinic and each time I came here I meet a different receptionist each one of them were very nice, kind, very polite and courteous. But the first one is the nicest. I met her about 3 weeks ago. Each time I came the receptionist told me the wait time and told me. I can leave return and if when I return my name is called, before I return she would put me in right away. The first two times I came my name was already called and each time I was put in as told.Today my third visit there was a cocain guy infront of me who was very impatient and rude to the receptionist as soon as his turn came up to the receptionist. He rudely told her if I would have a long wait I can't wait. As soon as the receptionist open her mouth to say some thing to him he said, don't I will go". He grab his heath card and left.People you are coming to a walk in clinic not your doctor office and if you don't want to wait a long time. Make appointment and go see your own family doctor. If you must come to a Walk-in Clinic come and line up first thing in the morning

I'm so glad I ended up going here despite the bad reviews. I had a great experience here from start to finish.Receptionist was nice. I had walked in yesterday and they weren't taking any more patients that day (they have a sign saying that dangling right in front of you when you walk up to the receptionist). So today I called ahead and asked if they were still taking patients today and they were. Told me it would be a long wait though. But that was OK with me. So I came in, checked in with the receptionist. Had no issues there even though I don't have a health card yet, just the preliminary document they give you until the card arrives. Was told that ear flushing (which I needed) would be 40 CAD cash. I asked if there was an ATM around and they gave me directions to one. I went to grab the cash then went back to wait. When it's your turn they call you by first name (seems to be a thing here, it certainly isn't in Germany ;)). They also give you the room no which to wait in. The doc was very friendly and helpful. I'm sure ear flushing is nobody's fave passtime but he did it professionally and successfully. Thanked him and asked him whether flying with a clogged ear might result in a perforated ear drum. He said nope but that ai would have been in severe pain and that it was good I came see him.Afterwards the doc has seen you, you head to the receptionist again to see if you have to pay anything. In my case I knew that I did. So we took care of that. Thanked her as well and off I went. So, in my experience here you will be well taken care of. Can definitely recommend coming here.

Came at 8:45 so i would be first in line right at opening at 9am. I was first in line and was registered first and told I would be seen first. I was then told doctor doesn't come until 9:30. It's 10am now and doctor finally arrives, goes into room beside me to deal with another patient first. So I have waited an hour even though I was first from 9 to 10am. How is this possible?

wait time is long, they told me 1 hour and almost waited 2 hrs. the worst part was the pharmacist hands you the prescription the Dr. orders. I wanted to take my RX to my own pharmacy that has all my info and they pharmacist gives me a RX with fax confirmation info on the back on the paper which he cut making the paper smaller. I think he did that because it had personal info and was lazy to reprint or photocopy another one. when I brought the RX to my pharmacy they were hesitant to take it beacuse it seemed tampered with, which was also my concern prior to going because i thought it also looked pretty sketchy. I told my pharmacist I was not going back there to wait that long to get the same prescription. Luckily it was not any controlled medication, and they eventually processed it. DEFIENITY DO NOT go here even if your desperate!

Went with daughter so she could obtain a required test for employment. Made an appointment for the test. The test cost money, cash only. Brought cash, they would not make change. Directed us to a bank to get proper denomination. Waited over 30 minutes past our appointment to find that the doctor had not even arrived yet. Disrespectful, rude staff. Waste of time.

I would absolutely recommend this walk-in clinic. The Receptionist Sharon went ABOVE AND BEYOND to be extremely helpful to myself and Family through a tough time and I will be forever grateful for all that she had done to help us, this world needs more compassionate and caring people such as herself. The Pharmacist was also a very friendly and personable man who was also very efficient and helped us get what we needed very quickly, there was no waiting around for our prescriptions. As for the doctor, I would for sure recommend him. I get VERY anxious going to the doctor, but he made the visit very lighthearted while still being very professional and unlike a lot of doctors, he listens, and that to me is very important!

I would definitely recommend this walk in clinic . Both receptionist.are wonderful lady’s. they really do try to get u in /out as soon as possible. However like everywhere ur wait time is about an hour for sure.which I think is decent.longest I have ever spent waiting is two hours. however, worth the wait best walk-in clinic in Cambridge they’re accommodating they’re nice they’re polite and they do what they can to get you in and out. I recommend this place to all my friends family. Thanks for being kind and truthful from the startDr notes 25 cash but will tell u on the phone.

I was waiting patiently in line for my turn to see the front desk, then the Indian receptionist calls up somebody who was at the back of the line and puts that Indian lady and her kid ahead of me, clearly she was being racists towards me because I look like a white male, I am an indigenous person and just like everybody els, I was waiting patiently in line for my turn to see the doctor. I’ve never dealt with somebody more ignorant in a professional setting like a doctors office in my life… then when i left to make a call to speak to the doctor or manager so I could make a formal complaint about the receptionist I of course can only speak to the same woman.. I brought up my concerns with her and she started being really rude and said some racial slurs about me being a white male. I’ve been to this clinic a few times now and it’s always been a pretty good experience, but today the way I was treated and to be called racial slurs by somebody representing the doctors office was unacceptable and uncalled for, nobody deserves to be treated the way I was today…. Needless to say I won’t be going back to that clinic ever again, i hope that the working physician gets a chance to read my review about the way this woman treated me today and reprimands her or relieves her of her job. Nobody deserves to be treated this way especially based upon the colour of your skin… I have never experienced a racial attack like this in my entire life… needless to say I will never be attending this walk in clinic ever again unless this woman is let go immediately!
