Cloverdale Paint

Sold us double the paint we needed! We had 1300 sq.ft. of wall and they sold us 9 gallons based on 325 sqft per gal. They said we should double the square footage for 2 coats. Well, after doing 2 solid coats, painting an extra 4 ft closet we hadnt counted, and puttin 3 coats on a big rec room feature wall (previously deep red), we have 4 gallons unopened! I called the store to see if they could buy it back and they said not once it was tinted (even though it's a very light neutral grey-beige color). So $200 spent on paint to sit in the garage for the next 5 years.To add insult to injury, when I said they should revise their advice to customers to, say, 350 sqft/gal and 400 for second coat, she actually said Have a nice day" and hung up on me! Talk about poor customer relations!The product is good but the overselling is brutal. Do your own calculations or go elsewhere."

I had the best experience with one particular employee at Cloverdale paints in Langley . Her name is Michelle. She went above and beyond for me with picking out paint. She knows her paints stuff very well. Thank you so much for the knowledge that you gave me on painting. Lynda

Good selection of paint, materials and tools.Building looks good, clean and well maintained.Location is very good and lots of parking.. conveniently located across the Willowbrook mall in the Langley area. There is a bus stop right in front of the building which makes it easy to get to.Will visit again for any other painting projects

Excelent service. It is not easy to receive service like this these days. Girl was super helpful and looked like she really enjoyed her worked. I very time Im there she is super professional and always try to help without even asking. I believe her name is Michelle ( founded on the invoice ) quite sure the boss should really give her raise to keep her serving clients that way !!!

Stars are for Michelle only. She is professional, helpful, knowledgeable, ethical in providing help and staining to those who can not do it, and to those who are elderly and need the help. She is always upbeat and smiling but most of all she understands what customer service truly is and means.As for the manager, his conduct was shameful and unprofessional. He denied vehemently with violent shaking of his head, red faced and with indignant attitude, repeating NO over and over to helping a customer with staining a wood nose that was already stained by Michelle but ended up being a little dark. I sanded it down and brought it back to Michelle, with the color and staining I purchased from this store, to have her do it again...as she is very good at it and can do it quickly.Michelle knew customer service is number one and brings back new and repeat customers, she did her job and helped a customer who needed her help. THIS EMPLOYEE IS THE ONLY REASON I WILL GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION AND PASS THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW TO OTHER POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

I signed up for a business account at Cloverdale Paint today and the lady, Michelle, who works there was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The customer service there was phenomenal. From now on all my business will be done at CP. Thanks!

Michelle is the person to go to for all of your stain needs. We’ve been going to paint experts for months and asking them if we could change the stain colour for the wood panels for few walls in the house. All of them said it’s impossible. We had given up and had plans of ripping out the wood panels and went into this location to pick out a new paint for these new bare walls. We told her the predicament we were in and instantly she responded with how we can easily change the stain colour. She spent good half hour with us showing us examples on wood panels how easily stain colour can be changed. She helped us choose a stain that we liked after running back and fourth between stain section and the counter as she would paint the grey on wood panels like the stain we had at home and show us the multiple stain possibilities on it. Helped us choose the perfect stain without having to make compromise with wood panels. She’s really good at what she does and sure seems like she enjoys what she does.

Exceptional service from Michelle! Michelle was lovely and super authentic. She also had a lot of knowledge about solid exterior stains. She provided helpful advice on choosing a stain colour.I went to Sherwin Williams before and they had very little selection for stain colour choices. Michelle came out with a thick book of colours to review (she even suggested checking the colour samples outside). She went out of her way to provide lots of colour choices which I greatly appreciated!I also showed Michelle a picture of the previous stain on my fence. She noticed right away that it was an oil stain. Then she suggested sanding the fence for a proper stain finish. I had no clue! I definitely saved money and time with her advice. I was amazed by the service (truly made my day). I highly recommend Michelle at Cloverdale Paint! :)
