Excellent real world experiences are used to illustrate all of the topics covered. I really respect the instructors who do this kind of work day to day in addition to teaching the Private Investigation course. There are details to various laws that are best explained by people who work with them on a daily basis. The classes were interesting. All questions were answered with the goal of the student getting a good understanding. If you pay attention and take notes then there should be no problem passing the Ontario P.I. exam. There are many new terms and legal concepts that must be mastered as you move through the course. If you are fluent in English and you study you should breeze through the program.

I had a very positive experience with CSPIS. i have been employed in the security industry for 12 years in Ireland. CSPIS made the transition very easy for myself personally. the instructors were excellent. the class was very interactive. I would recommend the class to anyone looking for knowledge and employment of the security industry in Ontario.

Extremely great program offered! Edward is humorous and provides real life examples to explain things.Chantale is great and it would be nice to see her teaching some more classes.Bonus: they help you find jobs :) & give you a mock test to prep for the security exam!I’d recommend this school to anyone wanting to pursue a career and or second income in security and or private investigation.

The Private Investigation Course in house was excellent. Ed was very thorough and professional. It made the Ministry test seem easy as we were all very well prepared. I just completed their Security Course on line and it was first class.

I am currently attending and private investigator prelimimary training course here. What I have experienced here so far has been fantastic, the instructor is highly knowledgeable about the industry and does an excellent job at communicating the information in a way that is easy understandable for anyone willing to learn it. The school is very friendly and is well situated in an area where food, beverages and a variety of vehicle services are accessible. The course may be a little more than the contending online programs in its class, however I found being able to have a shoulder to lean on so to speak makes it much easier if any occurrences where to arise regarding the program. They have offered to assist with direction for individuals who pass the exam prior to the course who are looking to get in the field. They offer hands on training and have equipment to help familiarize individuals with the respective equipment they are to be using in their fields of placement. So far I have no objections

I'm a graduate from the Police Foundation course at Humber College and I decided to complete my security training course at the CSPIS and I had very positive learning experience. The classes are very interactive with the students. The material is explained clearly and in a fun way. In overall I had a great learning experience and I would recommend anyone that wants to complete their security training to attend CSPIS.

I was a student there in 2010. The training was OK but not very test-oriented and not very rigorous. I can definitely say the instructor made the course as fun as he possibly could, but at the end of the course I was not very confident I could pass the test. YOU HAVE TO STUDY THE MINISTRY MATERIAL CAREFULLY ON YOUR OWN.The CPR training was very good.Ask them how many mock tests they will give you during the course. They gave us 1 which I think was too few.The tuition for me was $500. Later I found out that big security companies offer the same training for around $350 (Again, this is 2010 information).

The overall experience was very professional. The knowledge delivered by the instructor went beyond the textbook and it was supplemented with relevant details that enhanced the curriculum. The personal experiences of the instructor in Private Investigation provided a unique insight into the profession. Administratively, the school’s process was simple and effective while at the same time being available to any additional concerns and/or help.In short, CSPIS was a great investment into my future and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing a career in any of the fields they provide instruction in.

When I was considering which college to take the Security Guard license preparation course, I looked at which schools were government approved for the training. From there I called around for prices. CSPIS had the best price of these registered schools, and a very convenient location.When I saw the CSPIS logo, I realized I had seen it more than 20 years ago when I was in high school. Professional training is a difficult form of teaching, and one's company does not stay in business 25 years without knowing their market and satisfying the expectations of students, regulatory agencies and so on.When I took the course, I found our instructor knowledgeable and professional. He made the class experience less formal and intimidating. He used humor as a way to change pace and keep learning enjoyable, and his lecture on the history of law enforcement was fascinating.Thanks, CSPIS, for a great course.

I enjoyed that it was a class setting and small group because it allowed me to ask questions and learn first hand. I took dual license private investigator and security courses and I found the instructor has good experience and knowledge and was very clear on presenting the information. I highly recommend CSPIS for anybody interested in taking private investigation and security training course. All the administration staff at the school are and have been very helpful. The school location is great with easy access to transit. Everything was excellent. Thank you.
