The Prince Edward County Church

The Prince Edward County Church is the perfect getaway! I loved the charming decor, the cute pond that is great for canoeing, the fire pit to star gaze, and the spacious calming rooms. It was clean, and Adam is a great host. Definitely worth staying at the Church and making it a fun time with family and friends. Thanks again for a great experience!

A wonderful, unique restoration of this beautiful church. The home is warm and inviting with so many interesting niches. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This was the best/coolest place I’ve ever stayed! My friends and I couldn’t get over how amazing it is. The vibe was just perfect. It was cozy, clean, and the added touches were amazing (the sinners welcome sign, confessional) If you are looking for a unique place to stay, this is the place to be!The host, Adam, was so welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay and even afterwards (we forgot a few items and he was very helpful when trying to get them back to us).Overall, this is the place to stay if you are ever in the PEC area!

The photos you see of this place are completely accurate, yet, standing in the grandeur of this renovated church is a whole other experience! What stood out to me most is how grateful I am that people like Adam are willing to open up his home to others - what an amazing experience to stay here! A very large family would have tons of space. The two of us felt like we were on vacation just by sitting in the grand room. The water levels were low so we didn't get to kayak but we did make good use of the bikes...I highly recommend you enjoy them! We had one brief issue but Adam was so on-the-ball that it was resolved within minutes. A tremendous host and home -- can't say enough good things!

This is a VERY cool and unique property that is well cared for and a great place to spend a few days. It has everything you need, including all kitchen tools, and the host is kind and quick to respond. The wood burning fireplace and sound system are great features.

5+ star review!! Prince Edward County Church was a beautiful unique place to stay. Loved the layout (very open and spacious) and it was beautifully furnished. Plenty of room for our group to chat and play games! We would definitely love to come back!

Stayed here for a long weekend for a bachelorette party and had such a great time. Absolutely beautiful space the photos don’t do it justice! Seamless and simple checkin and checkout. It was a very hot and humid weekend but the AC keeps even the cathedral space of the church very cool and comfortable. Lots of great local gems in a short drive from the church. Beds are all very comfortable too! This place is truly a unique gem.

This was my second time staying at the church. It’s such a great place to stay with friends and enjoy a lovely vacation in the county. I had a little birthday party as well and it was such a great layout for entertaining. The confession booth is also such a great touch. Will definitely be back!

The Prince Edward County Church is wonderful. It has all the comfort of modern facilities while retaining the charm and character of the 135 year old church. So much attention is given to details that you can spend hours simply admiring the interior of the building and discovering its numerous particularities. The place is clean and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. The exterior offers the space and equipment needed for a large number of activities. We are eager to return there next year.
