LASIK MD

I just had my lasik operation done two days ago. No pain just slight discomfort. My vision is great as of right now. The entire experience was positive and professional. The doctors that worked on me were so nice and caring. What they do is truly remarkable. Thank you soo much for everything.

1. Lasik does not respect your time. I have had many follow-up appointments scheduled at a specific time, but wait in the waiting room between 15-45 minutes each time. The appointment times are more of a suggestion, so bring a book or some work and make sure to clear up a few hours in uour schedule.2. Lasik does not properly care for people whose surgery doesn't work. My surgery did not work in either eye. They have been unsympathetic, unclear about the protocol and next steps, unable to answer questions, unable to provide statistics about other cases like mine. They will not let you meet with a surgeon in the case of complications, you can`t get past the optical technicians.If you have the money, go elsewhere, to a more professional clinic with a more personal feel. This place, as another Google reviewer wrote, has a 'factory line' feel to it.

I had my first surgery 4 1/2 years ago and had great service… i needed touch ups this year and their service was just as excellent as the first time… they are always on time and go out of their ways to make all the appointements and follow ups work for you. A special shout out to Mei Chang Roman who always took her time to make sure everything was okay and explain everything in detail and really be human about the whole process… she really has impeccable customer service! I definitely recommend this clinic!

I've had a great experience with the Ottawa LASIK MD clinic. In particular, Shane Smith and Melanie Beaupre made me feel relaxed and comfortable about the procedure. The surgeon was great and walked me through everything, which helped with my pretty significant nerves. Communication was clear and thorough and I'm super happy with my results!
