Very authentic Sichuan food. The smell and the taste are very close to the local food back in China. Highly recommended the original spicy pot base ONLY IF you like spicy food. However, it’s slightly disappointed that the original spicy pot base is still not spicy enough for me. So if you were like me, I recommend the spicy marinated meat which will add another layer of taste to your experience!The service is very nice. However, they don’t accept reservation so the owner recommended us come in early before 5pm to avoid the rush hour. The have tony mahjong for you to play at the waiting area! Washroom is clean. Many seasoning options.

Very cool hot pot location serving food by the skewer! You choose a soup base and your choice of meats, vegetables, noodles, etc. which mainly come on a skewer and are priced per skewer ($0.66 for a typical meat skewer). Prices may seem low initially but the cost adds up quickly as each skewer has only a single slice of meat. The broth is nice and flavourful as are the meats and other food. I highly recommend the sweet potato noodles which are very chewy and soak up the soup nicely! Interior is decorated nicely with wooden tables/chairs, and the service is friendly and helpful. If you're not fond of peppercorn, I'd suggest avoiding the deep fried pork dish which although crispy, can taste unusual due to the peppercorn used. The spicy soups and meats are also quite spicy in my opinion, but in a good way, just something to consider when ordering. All in all, I highly recommend checking this place out if you're craving hot pot!

Lunch noodles are very authentic!!! Highly recommend! Wish they could offer the noodles for dinner too. The rice pudding dessert is a must try too. Very satisfied food and service.

We ordered a mild skewer combo for two, a rice pudding, and crispy pork. Food is tasty. Like the soup base. The combo is enough for two people. We couldn’t finish all. The strawberry drinks are included in the combo. They are super good. They taste much better than they look. First time to have Szechuan rice pudding in North America. It is tasty, and also worth trying.Nice service and cleanly packed.

Soup base reminds me of the gutter oil industry documentary in China. It was just so oily we couldn't stand it. We just used the soup to cook the food and not savor it really. We had diarrhea after so idk if it was even safe to consume so much oil. Also expensive for hotpot. 100$+ and we're not even full. Service was okay. The interior design is good but what a waste if people don't come back.

I’ve heard of this place and this is my first time there! The services is very good, the are very friendly! You can put your jackets in the baskets under the table so it won’t smell! It’s really thoughtful of that!I enjoying the food very much, we ordered half spicy and half regular, it’s really good! The sauce is really good too!

Tried this hotpot place with my boyfriend about two weeks ago!This is a level up from the traditional hot pot, where all of your fav hot pot items are on skewers so you can easily enjoy them after cooking in the boiling soup.We couldn't decide on the type of soup so we got the mild spicy and non-spicy broth (& yes the mild spicy is mouth numbingly delish).Skewer choices range from the usual beef, meat balls and veggies but also things like gizzard which we don't see very often anywhere else. Their appetizers also didn't disappoint and included some dishes I've never tried like Deep Fried Milk (just the right amount of sweetness and crispy).Food was delicious!!!! And service was amazing.If you're looking to warm up from the weather and try an authentic skewer hot pot, definitely give this a try!

If you dig spicy Chinese food, this is the place.Skewers is Chinese street food and they upgraded it to a fancy restaurant.0.66 per skewer isn’t expensive and once your appetite is brought up by the spice, you can’t stop eating.
