Wolfman K9 Obedience

I can genuinely say that I saw a difference in my puppy within one single session with Josh and Darryl. They are extremely knowledgeable. My puppy is now six months old and people cannot believe how well behaved he is. My puppy was aggressive, biting, pulling, and even resource guarding. Treat based training was just not cutting it. My puppy is now kind, loyal, loveable, and confident. Josh and Darryl teach you how to build a loyal relationship with your dog that will last a lifetime. I would be lost without their help.

First and foremost let me start by saying this is the only dog school that my vet recommended. My vet has over 30 years of experience, I trust his recommendations and boy was he right about Wolfman K9 Obedience!!We've been working the training now for a few months and we have seen a huge improvement with our pup. Our dog is more certain of himself, his behaviour has completely changed for the good. My dog is so happy to learn which helps us continue the homework at home. I recommend Wolfman K9 Obedience, no matter how old the dog(s) is/breed, this is this is the place to come for help. Mike, Josh, and Darryl are always here to answer any questions, they have decades of experience and it shows! I don't think they charge enough for all that they do. All they ask is that you stay committed and do the work.Ps. I’ve learned so much from Josh, Mike and Darryl. My dog loves it there too, he gets excited before we park the car. I really like it here because we get directions on training but also get to know about how dogs think, what they can handle and they’ve corrected a lot of false sayings/stereotypes about dogs that are not true. (Fun fact: did you know dogs can eat chicken heads?! They sell them here and Axel loves them). Tons of advice and wisdom from years of their experience, it’s amazing.They understand Axel (my dog) and figure out exactly what he needs so that we see the best results. By following what they say, I have seen impressive results. I have a relationship with my dog built on trust.There’s so much more great things to say but I’ll add one more. Another really cool feature is Playtime. After Axel is done training he gets to run around and play with other dogs which is really wonderful to see.

Josh, Darryl and Mike are amazing dog trainers! The hours are flexible and if I have questions I’m able to message directly. I can bring up specific scenarios I have with my dog and they’ll break it down and tell me why its happening and provide the best approachable way to proceed. Josh notifies me when food shipment will be in. Josh, Darryl and Mike take the time to remember the dogs’s name! They each have a plethora of knowledge and wisdom for my dog and teach me the material in a clear and straightforward way, which helps me not feel overwhelmed or lost in my duty as the owner of my dog. Their lessons have changed me and my dog’s behaviour for the better, we know our roles together. Mike, Darryl, and Josh are all are looking to bring out the best version of my dog. All they ask is that you are willing to put in the time and they’ll 110% provide the rest!

Josh and Mike can read the dogs that show up within the first few minutes. They treat every dog and situation accordingly. They're committed and knowledgeable no matter what size/breed the dog. They don't just train dogs, but train the owners as well. They provide tools and guidance to properly handle your dog. In just two sessions we made more progress than in six months at a traditional dog training class. They gave us the confidence and guidance to properly handle Elliott, our 150lb Black Russian Terrier. Elliott as a result has not only done amazing, but the trust and bond has grown between us as well. He's also a much happier and more balanced dog and still improving every day. Extra bonus that he absolutely loves going there and loves all the attention from Josh.

I highly recommend Wolfmans K9, especially if you have a working breed that thrives on having a purpose and clear direction.The goal is 100% reliable obedience, both on and off leash. If you are willing to put in the work, the result will be a loyal companion with freedoms that only few dogs can enjoy. We take our girl to dog friendly beaches off-leash, outdoor patios, stores, and can count on her to listen to us. We still have a long way to go but we are already enjoying the benefits and freedom that Mike and Josh's instruction has brought to us.

Mike was great! Our rescue White German Shepherd, who would attack people and other dogs when we got her, turned into an amazing pup! She was trained off lead within a few months!Used his training with all our other dogs since then and people are amazed at how well our dogs are trained and behave.Mike and crew may be a little 'rough around the edges', but it's because they know what they're doing and the results speak for themselves.

Josh, Daryl and Mike provided the confidence and knowledge that I needed to train my dog. As a first time dog owner, I was an unaware and anxious but these guys were always available to answer all my questions and to work with me rain, snow or shine.I particularly liked the flexible training hours, and that the reward system was without treats. You get what you put in, and these guys were always encouraging me to work with my pup which has subsequently given us a better mom/dog relationship.Currently we are working off leash and I couldn’t be happier with the results that we have achieved thus far. I cannot speak more highly of Wolfman K9 training. 5/5 gold stars here.Call them, you won’t regret it!

Took my (slightly clueless) rescue to begin training 6 months ago with exceptional results. The trainers train you & the dog with clarity & consistency. The schedule is flexible (awesome). With the work you put in, plus two training sessions a week, the magic happens. Yes there are distractions & other dogs training at the same time. Just what you need for the real world. Right?

Mike has helped us turn our nightmare into a dream.When our Newfoundland puppy was 9 months old and 90 lbs, she started aggressively challenging us and using her size and weight against us. She would growl, bite, and knock you down.We started going to Wolfman K9. Mike taught us how to turn her into a gentle and loveable Newfoundland dog and member of our family. Now at 2-1/2 years old and 127 lbs., Izzy Bear is a faithful and obedient partner, without having to carry treats around everywhere. She has learned to be obedient because she wants to please us.
