Sunset Cafe
Friendly staff and felt like home. Had their seafood bake and it was phenomenal. Freshly made. We packed their wraps for our hike to Gros Morne Mountain and they were very tasty. I am had a veggie wrap and my husband had a chicken Ceasar wrap. Quick tip: if you are bringing them to a picnic and don’t want it bulky, ask them to pack it for a hike. I forgot to let them know when we ordered them for take out but they were VERY kind and accommodating to repack for a picnic hike.

I live in Rocky Harbour. 2 days ago we were surprised with a hot meal delivered to our door from Sunset Cafe. Compliments of our family from Norris Point and St John's. The chicken soup was pipping hot, fresh rolls were still warm, club sandwiches were filled with awesome ingredients and presented beautifully in 'to go' packages. Not to mention the side of carrot sticks with curry dip! Great idea for someone sick or shut in. We have never eaten there, but we will now for sure.

Cute little restaurant with great food and wonderful service and ambiance. The cafe has a gift shop where you can buy Newfoundland souvenirs, quilts, jams, sauces etc.

Good food, table ordered French toast with bacon and breakfast burritos with hash. Lovely cafe, it seems well enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. Great service! Wish they had more seating, but on the plus side there is a ramp so it is accessible to the cafe floor, I’m unsure about the gift shop downstairs. We planning on returning for breakfast again tomorrow.

Just ordered a clubhouse. It was good, nothing over the top. They put sliced ham on it, I had to remove it. No biggy. Service was pretty slow, but you can browse the ding dangs and thingys while you wait.

Cute café and gift shop. We went there after hiking Western Brook Pond, it was about a 25 minute drive. The staff were all incredibly friendly and we had a great time there. From the looks of it, they serve incredible ice cream, but we were only there for lunch and didn’t want to get anything. The food is very affordable and they also have a great assortment of coffees. The gift shop is loaded with really cute stuff and great souvenirs for your trip.

Good customer service. The food was not that tasty. I had cod au gratin or something like that and was fish under a pile of bread and melted shredded cheese. I had to ask for some salt to give some flavor to my meal. My husband’s bacon grilled cheese sandwich was good though.
