Fat Les's Chip Stand
This was good!!! The staff are friendly and helpful. The food itself was very tasty. I had 2 types of hotdogs and some other yummy things. I’m planning to return to try more. I was told afterwards that it has more than one location, which is all to the good as far as I am concerned.2nd visit,I’m very tempted to apply to become one of Les’s portly pals, chubby chums, fat friends or whatever the proper term is. The puked pork poutine was wonderful!!! Les is a culinarily genius!!!several more trips later: I’ve tried almost every type of poutine and they are all mouth watering wonderful.

The pulled pork poutine is a monster of a meal! One order could easily serve two for dinner. Delicious gravy, loads of sweet and salty pulled pork, and a generous amount of St Albert’s curds. It definitely makes my list of top poutines.

Always love their poutines! So many variations of poutines from bacon to smoked meat. Keep in mind that the specialty poutines are very big portions. I had a chicken burger and it was very delicious!However, just one suggestion - I'd love to see more GF/vegetarian/vegan options like it's hard to spot on the menu as it's right at the bottom from a marketing selling perspective.

Excellent spot to stop for lunch, so much more than a chip truck! Tasty and creative menu of burgers, dogs, sandwiches and premium pouting with cheese curds and gluten free gravy option. Large portions, friendly service and affordable prices.I had a Fat Les's burger and poutine... unreal!! Next time I'm thinking the steak or smoked meat poutine. Try this place out!

Awesome service. Awesome food. Lots of different choices to choose from. Although my gf had to order 3 different times because they were out of stuff. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger poutine.

Great portions for the price. They have delicious dark gravy in their Poutines. They have a good variety menu for all diets including Gluten free and Vegan options and to top it off... they offer debit pay for those who no longer carry cash in their pockets.

Their fries, gravy and onion chips are the best around here. They also serve you huge scoops of ice cream. They are 3 locations. I prefer the one behind Walmart. There are other fries stands in kemptville. Don’t bother to try the others as Fat Les is the best.**. Fries and gravy here are the best. The cook is very chatty and friendly. They do not accept credit card so bring cash.** a bit disappointed this time. Very little onion chips for $5. The gravy is quite watery.** the server is really nice. They just closed but when we went to the counter they still agreed to cook some for us. We are so happy as we are really hungry.

If you really want to ruin a long running diet with a fantastic dirty meal definitely check this place out. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe poutine and I kid you not. Best thing I've eaten, worth the 3000 calories you'll probably gain from a single meal.
