I was very disappointed with the receptionist and the doctor. The doctor gave me the impression I was wasting his time and everything I said he truly didn't care. Asked me a question and over talked me. Didn't pay attention to my allergies and sent a prescription in the same family as my allergy. When I went up front, I had to book another appointment, the receptionist gave me a time and date and it didn't work with my schedule so I kindly asked for a different day. The receptionists response said if you say so"...how unprofessional."

The customer service aspect of their surgical scheduling office is very difficult to understand. You cannot speak to the scheduling office, only leave a message. Messages will only be returned if you have your required surgery scheduled. This in no way, enables a person to be reassured that they are in fact still on the list. People do not want to wait for several years for surgery and then eventually find out that their name had bee mistakenly dropped. I will have to ask my Dr. to refer me to a different eye specialist to ensure that my issue is taken care of. I don't think this would be necessary with a better, more caring scheduling process.

It is always a pleasure here. Staff are courteous and very prompt. Space is super clean and not crowded. They've got an efficient patient management system that is always so pleasant to experience

My husband attended this clinic to have a minor procedure done and I accompanied him to this appointment. Upon checking in at the desk, the receptionist assisting him looked at me and asked if he needed assistance, to which I replied no. She was incredibly rude and told me that I couldn't be in the building; that she didn't care where I went but I couldn't be in the building. I think the office staff in this clinic need some classes in professionalism and courtesy. I have never been spoken to in this manner in a professional setting. It was completely unacceptable.

Top notch care and professionalism. Would highly recommend to those in need.

I was going there for 2 years...Now I need to go back....It's May 2023...appointment Feb 2024? I will be blind by then? Thanks

On October 2, 2018, I arrived at this office thinking I had an appointment on that day. The receptionist informed me that I had showed up a day early... I live an hour's drive away, so I tried to rebook for later in the month, via phone. Thankfully, the young guy answering the phone called me back. He was quick to identify that I was in Regina. He suggested that I appear at their office, they would fit me in... My fault, but much appreciated... The staff acknowledged that I had pressed their scheduling for the 2nd but were courteous and efficient. Dr. Chmiel was his usual professional self and I was glad to find that macular degeneration was not in progress... there had been snow forecast on the day we had driven in. On the next day, there was 4 inches of snow over freezing rain... so, not only was the courtesy of staff appreciated... I avoided a return trip and/or a drive in on slippery roads in weather on October 3 which would have caused me to cancel and rebook the appointment anyway... thanks to the staff and Dr.
