I worked in Toyota Lexus as Service Job Controller - Service Area Department for 20 years in other country and I met numerous experts and class A technicians. It is not quite easy to find a quality assurance satisfaction from a reliable shop! I am so impressed to share that Ainslie Auto Repair and Sells, headed by Waqar, Habib, Faraz made an awesome job in all the cars that I have.Highly recommended with superb experience at reasonable price!

It's nice to find an honest mechanic. These guys are great. They do what you need done and aren't out to do a bunch of work you don't need. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic.

I was a BIG FAN of John for the last 15 years(?), until he retired. But just recently I took 3 separate cars in to the new owners. A high mileage Toyota 4Runner for oil change and full service, a 2017 Toyota 86 for a 48,000km service, and a 2014 Ford Fiesta for a safety (selling it certified for my parents). With each vehicle, I received excellent professional advice. On my 2012 4Runner (254,000kms), they knew all 'weak spots', and explained everything to me; did numerous small preventative maintenance service items; the same service at the dealer would have cost who knows how much...On my 2017 Toyota 86 (51,000kms), I just bought this car a few months ago and it had always been serviced at the dealer. I took it in, and asked that they look up what the dealer would do at the 'major' 48,000km check. Instead of charging me for all that was listed, they evaluated each item, did some, and reccomended others were just not necessary... For example the cabin filter looked brand new but had a couple bits of leaves in it... they didn't replace it as the dealer would have, they just cleaned it and re-installed NO CHARGE. Some of the fluids were 'scheduled' to be replaced, but literally looked brand new (I baby this car, and so did the previous owner...) so - check, report, no charge! And again, knowing the car model, they sprayed extra lubricant on an area where they know commonly has issues with oxidation. On my parent's 2014 Ford Fiesta (68,000kms), I took this car in to be certified. I don't know that much... but it certified with two new windshield wipers (it's been parked outside for the last 7 years...). The front breaks were at 30%; that's enough to pass a safety, but they noted it on a supplemental paper that they'd need to be changed in the near future. What do I know about break pad thickness? At 68,000kms they may have been original? second set? If they told me they need to be replaced, it would have seemed logical to me, but no; although low, there was enough to pass a certification (I let the buyer know about the 30%...)I will miss seeing John for my vehicle maintenance, but I'm feeling GREAT about these two brothers that bought the business and moved their families to Cambridge. If you were a fan of John, you likely learned to trust him over the years as I did. I actually drove the 4Runner 4,000kms past the oil change sticker because I was freaked out about finding another trustworthy mechanic; After 3 visits to these new guys, I'm feeling very relieved.
