Food was great. The chef is so kind to come out and ask each and every customer if they are enjoying their food. That is not something you see everywhere. Great place.

Bonnie and her friendly team are great hosts and made our group (of Airbnb hosts) feel welcome and well taken care of. The new menu is great - perfect for sharing and full of flavour. We had chicken souvlaki, nachos, cheesy bread and sweet potato fries - all good! Thx Bonnie.

It just reopened under new management. Honestly, not much has changed yet. I found the food bit salter then i like and lacking depth im not sure how to describe it exactly but it was their first day open in a month so im sure it will find its stride soon. Try them for yourself they do have a variety of options i didnt try.

So went today and it was the 1st day with a new slimmed down menu from before (this can be a good thing in some cases) but in this case the slimmed down offerings weren't top notch and service not great either. Took 15 minutes to get drinks, and asked twice for ranch dressing only to finally receive once our lunch was done. Club sandwich was OK, fries were OK, but don't bother with the packaged gravy they serve. The chicken tenders were way over cooked (server shouldn't have to try and explain, these should never have come out the kitchen to begin with) We did inquiry about the new menu and how there is a new chef. We did mention to server that we have been coming for a number of years and if this was our very 1st time we wouldn't come back. As it stands right now we probably won't be back either, which is unfortunate. Here's my 2 cents worth, stick with the slimmed down menu but give top notch food. We the consumer will pay for top notch, but not mediocre as was the case today. Good Luck, really hope things get better.

Wow! I did not expect the meal to be so fantastic!! The Caesar salad was cold and crisp, perfectly dressed and with slices of real garlic toast on the side.I had the chicken souvlaki. So good!!! The chicken was moist, tender and perfectly spiced. The generous salad came with homemade dressing on the side. Lovely fresh large slices of tomato and cucumbers made the presentation especially pretty. Fresh moist white rice.What’s push this meal over the top though what is the very generous dollop of homemade tzatziki sauce. Thick and luxurious.My companion had honey garlic, chicken wings. I admit I had to steal one or two because it was too much for him to eat. They are so large! Moist and perfectly saucedWe sat outside on the little deck on a beautiful evening. The service is fast and friendly.The restaurant building is a bit on the worn side, but hey, it’s Haliburton and everything else makes up for it!!!We really enjoyed this meal.This has to be the best chef in town.Highly recommend.

this is 1 of the 2 proper bar and grill restaurant in the area! Good crowd as they have ample space outdoor and indoors. Quick service! Customer service was good! Food is okaish.. we had spring roll - 2/5 , nachos was not good at all.. under cooked. We packed a sandwich which lacked taste. Only the location is good. Food is not great at all. Expensive for the taste !

Decided to give the beef stone bowl a try recently and... holy smokes! An incredible blend of flavours that I just couldn't get enough of. It not only satisfied my taste buds and stomach but it felt like a warm boost to the soul. A very healthy dish and unique dining experience. Also, the service was outstanding and Andy came out of the kitchen to check to ensure we were satisfied (as he often does)! Haliburton is incredibly to fortunate to have this fine establishment in the village. Be sure to go if you haven't yet.

Maple Avenue Tap & Grill
Great place, food was delicious! Souvlaki was excellent, chicken grilled perfectly. Roasted chicken could have used a bit more grilling, but was good nonetheless. Service was good as well. Clean restaurant. Will visit again soon.
